Cafe Italia is a great old-school spot that really delivers on both atmosphere and desserts. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The carrot cake was moist and full of flavor, the Oreo cupcake was rich and perfectly sweet, and the brownie was dense and chocolatey just the way it should be. The cannoli was the standout—crispy shell with a smooth, creamy filling that tasted authentic. You can tell they stick to traditional recipes and do things right. Definitely a place worth stopping if you’re in North Conway and want classic Italian desserts done right

If you’re looking for a truly special place to eat, this little mom-and-pop Italian café is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and care that goes into everything they do. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, like being invited into someone’s home for a homemade meal.
The food was incredible—every bite tasted fresh, authentic, and made with love. You can tell they take pride in their recipes and ingredients. It’s the kind of place where you leave already thinking about what you want to order the next time you come back.
What really made the experience unforgettable was the service. The staff were so kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. They made us feel so welcome and taken care of the entire time.
Places like this are rare, and it’s so special to find a small family-run café that puts so much heart into their food and hospitality. I truly couldn’t recommend this place more and can’t wait to come back again.

Incredible espresso & lattes, and delicious breakfast & lunch options. Massively underrated spot. The other spots down the street had lines around the block, and this cafe was criminally empty. Don’t sleep on this place!

We had a terrific time at Cafe Italia. Not only was the food and coffee delicious, the couple running the restaurant were beyond welcoming and accommodating. We chose to sit outside as we had our dog with us. When they realized we had him with us, they asked if he could have some treats and offered him a bowl of water. The food was yummy and the baked goods a real treat. I would highly recommend visits if you’re in the area.

We stopped in to get a cappuccino and were pleasantly surprised by the great selection of food and treats. They have a beautiful selection of cannolis, croissants, macarons, etc. we didn’t try any of their sandwiches, but will next time. I have walked by this place a million times…glad I finally stopped in!
