We stopped in for a quick brunch on a rainy day after ring shopping together. It was cute and felt very quaint. The food was really delicious and just yummy Italian comfort food. The details in the restaurant are so so sweet and create a great atmosphere

I try to eat very clean, grain and gluten free, no carbs. I ordered two poached eggs which were small okay for about $5 and smashed avocado. The word “smashed” to me sounded like fresh avocado but it didn’t taste fresh and didn’t taste good. The sauce they gave me (since they didn’t have salsa or Pico) just tasted mostly like black pepper also didn’t taste very good. The small cup of latte looked beautiful with a milky heart on top and tasted good as well (I asked for no added sugar). The waiter was very nice and polite and did all she was supposed to. The rooms were cute, tables very small and perfect for 2 people for conversation, decor nice.

Excellent small joint in Avalon. Very good Tiramisu and coffee. That’s all we tried. We saw that they serve alcohol too. Tiramisu was not too sweet, so we could really enjoy it. One order of coffee was like an unlimited serving. Staff are very courteous and professional. This is a small place with limited seating, but you will have a great experience.

Great little italian restaurant in Avalon. We came in a Friday night and did not wait to be seated because went straight to the bar. We ordered a very delicious sandwich with a salad and the espresso martini drink was amazing. The service also was top notch. Highly recommended!!

Was supposed to have a first encounter/ coffee date here… arrived an hour early to get on the list to have a timely seating for the date… and she didn’t show.
So…I had the spicy tricolor tortellini for lunch and a slice of cheesecake with coffee to finish… and made a great time out of the experience. The tortellini is AWESOME!
In future, plan your date arrival 1.5 hours ahead… parking was excruciating at the Avalon. Plan on an hour wait. But, if romance is involved… it’s worth it, even if she doesn’t show.

Drinks, cakes, service, and atmosphere: all incredible. Sitting at the bar felt like being transported back in time to a little European train station cafe. So cozy. Our bartender was amazing, very helpful and attentive. We actually came for an espresso martini before going ice skating, and loved it so much we went back again after skating for more drinks and dessert. We got espresso martinis (without the Bailey’s), a French 75, a cafe Salzburg, and a chocolate calda farenze, along with their vegan chocolate raspberry mousse cake. Everything was soooo good, but I would probably say the espresso martinis and the cake were our favorites.

3 or 4 stars. The coffee was bomb. Salmon was overcooked and a bit fishy – had been ordered medium. Was very well done. The potatoes were incredible.
Atmosphere gets 2 stars – the hostess sat us next to the door and then kept that door open. It was freezing. We asked if she could shut the door, she didn’t.

They have a hot chocolate section on the menu! I chose the Mexican hot chocolate. Tiny little chocolate morsels await you at the bottom of the cup, slightly melted. There seems to be little bits of gritty vanilla or sugar crystals throughout the drink. It was delightful. A hot chocolate will cost around $9.
The atmosphere feels like 1950’s Europe. A mix of Italian, German, French style. Dimly lit. Lots of two-person tables created an intimate setting. 6 bar stools.
They don’t take reservations. Free parking in the lots behind the Main Street.
