Food is decent but wait time for pick up is crazy. I had ordered twice with them for pickup. They said it will be ready in 30mins. Each time it’s almost 50mins and orders are not ready. Won’t come here again. There are just equivalent good choices out there that don’t waste your time. It’s okay to say it’s not ready and give me the refund instead of having me wait there endlessly. Why won’t people ever come back?

Five of us enjoyed a late lunch at Cafe India this past Sunday in preparation for attending the Seattle Boys Choir performance at a nearby church. Even though we were half an hour early during the busiest part of lunch, we were warmly welcomed and provided a large table of our choosing in a quiet part of the restaurant. We ordered a bread basket of naans, samosas, papadums, raita, and 5 main dishes. Two large squeeze bottles of delicious mint chutney and tamarind sauce were placed on our table at no extra charge to enhance the flavor of our appetizers. The food arrived in well-planned stages and we were amazed by the generous portions of everything. My personal favorite was the Biriani with lamb, but the other 4 mains were also excellent: very tasty, carefully prepared, nice and warm (but not too spicy), and with enough extra rice that we took home leftovers and have enjoyed two additional meals at home which were also excellent. We stayed until it was almost afternoon closing (3PM), because our concert didn’t start until 4, but the staff was extremely indulgent and kept offering more water and condiments. They went out of their way to make this a memorable Holiday luncheon for us, and we enjoyed the service, atmosphere, and food immensely. This was our first visit to Cafe India, and we will be recommending it to all our friends and family!
