Good food at a decent price. You can’t go wrong here! This is a self service restaurant with an unassuming ambiance. Good food and a clean restaurant. Prices are decent as well. I recommend this place!

Absolutely delicious and authentic Indian food!.
Located at a gas station (that’s how you KNOW the foods legit!) a very simple restaurant but don’t let the looks discourage you, they have some of the best and flavorful Indian food!. My South Indian mother in law and Indian husband were both very impressed by the freshness and authenticity of the food!. A 10 out of 10.
100% recommended!!

Newly renovated space with full bar. Great to-go options right next to the liquor store. I order here after I’m done with my workout at adventure rock.
I wouldn’t recommend the butter chicken (much better at Pizza and curry) but the gobi Manchurian is fire.
Shoutout to the new guy that took my order last night. Super friendly and helpful.

One of my favorite places to go for lunch when I’m at work! The food is always hot, fresh and very flavorful. I typically get then tandoori chicken tikka with extra sauce. It’s mildly sweet, and a little spicy. The chicken is nice n tender. The garlic naan is bigger than your head so be prepared to share or take some with you.

We had a wonderful dinner experience. It’s a nice Indian cuisine diner or a quintessential “Punjabi dhaba”. The people managing the place are super friendly and serve up the best food. We started with drinks – old fashioned, old monk rum and coke and a non alcoholic pineapple soda with black salt. For dinner, we ordered tandoori chicken and butter chicken with tandoori rotis and tawa parathas. Every food item was fresh, hot and delicious. We will be visiting again. BTW, portion size is generous. Also, they have a fine dining location in Bayview neighborhood.

We were originally planning to eat at the Milwaukee public market, but it was taking too long to find parking and I was quite hungry. Cafe India was only blocks away, so we decided to try them out. I definitely didn’t regret it. The food was delicious (the naan bread was amazing. Very soft and flavorful).

We were going to get gas the the Mobil out front and we were feeling hungry. We decided to give this place a try and I am so glad we did! I had the Lamb Tikka Masala and my husband had the butter chicken. We split an order of Garlic Naan and we both had a Mango Lassi.
When you first walk into the place, it just smells so frigging delicious, I knew we made the right call. Both dishes were A-Mazing! Sitting down, we noticed all the awards they have won so far, and they are well deserved! If you are looking for delicious food, look no further!!!

The owners and the staff were friendly. I went with my colleague and her friends. They offered many complimentary food since my colleague’s friends are students. We had multiple food items which were really tasty . We had food multiple times during our stay in Milwaukee downtown. I would recommend the place for the quality, price and the service. The price is very less compared to the other places. This is a not big restaurant rather a small eating station with few tables. This is a self service restaurant. I will really go back to this every time I feel to eat Indian food.

been ordering from here for years. the chicken tikka, korma, and a couple other curries are a bit creamier and sweeter than you would expect, maybe to be suitable for Wisconsinites, so I’ll usually only get one of those and then get one vindaloo or other dish that is not creamy to balance it out. i love their vindaloo and goat biryani. they make my favorite biryani in milwaukee, and i order it every time im homesick. i tried their lassi once; it was a bit too sweet for my taste but fine once i diluted it at home. i dont personally enjoy their sag paneer, but sometimes still order it to get more veggie in me. i usually ask for everything with max level spice. good roti, naan, gulab jamun, halwa (though i dont see it on the menu anymore ).

Got the butter chicken and ended up with food poisoning that same night. Vomiting, chills, cold sweats, diarrhea, the whole 9 yards. My boyfriend got the tikka masala and had no issues so I would steer clear of the butter chicken
