Got beef broccoli instead of chicken broccoli. Sauce was way too sweet with no spicy option available. Rice box wasn’t sealed properly (some spillage), and no utensils included.
Still, it arrived hot during severe weather—huge props to the driver for that. Mistakes happen, especially in bad conditions. Grateful it showed up at all.
Might reorder on a calm night, but I’d double-check the order and add utensil/spicy sauce requests next time. Thanks again to the driver!

This place is amazing! The food reminds me of New York City take out. Hot, fresh and delicious. Jenny at the front is super kind and helpful. She even gave us some dumplings to try. Also the place is clean. Definitely try this place for dine in.

HEAR ME OUT: if you’re wanting a bistro vibe with heavy porcelain plates and vibe-y chinese decor with small portions of tasty food for an occasion most fitting for a business lunch with coworkers, then this is your place! But if you’re after the “3.5 star chinese restaurant effect” LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! I paid $19 for chicken KungPao that was slightly smaller in size to the rice portion on a PandaExpress plate. All the workers were Mexican & speaking spanish; I simply prefer my chinese food to be made by actual chinese people, preferably a family-run operation! I imagine the 5-star reviews are by mostly YT people who prioritize service over quantity & authenticity, but for me – a good chinese spot is a hole-in-the-wall being run by an immigrant family who serves actually spicy food with large portions at reasonable prices! The food here is 5 star. I have eaten at various Chinese bistros throughout the US. Cafe Hunan is by far the best. The sweet, spice, crunch, savor, and tenderness of the meat is all there! The food is always hot, never cold. I love it. The environment isn’t loud so I’m about to eat and work from here. I find myself in awe and expressing excitement after every bite. A little pricey but it’s worth it.
This is my second time coming to Cafe Hunan. The community is safe and is in a bustling area. I haven’t had any issues finding parking and the building, and its features are always clean. The older woman floating between the kitchen and cash register is such a darling, I wish she was officially apart of my family. She makes guests feel welcomed and prioritized.

Went to Hunan Cafe for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The wonton soup was full of flavor and the wonton were some of the best I’ve had. The pork lo mein was fresh and flavorful and the pork was excellent. The hunan stir fry was beyond delicious and the jasmine rice was outstanding. Staff was super friendly and took care of us. Hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant and can’t wait to go back.

There was nothing extraordinary about it- I’ve actually had better Chinese food before. The crab rangoons were ok, the combination fried rice had too much green onions in it and didn’t have very good flavor. The BBQ roasted sliced pork was very dry, Mongolian beef was ok, and the combination lo mein wasn’t very flavorful either.
The portions were average and the food was delivered hot. Probably won’t eat here again.

Man this place is good! For a casual place they are serving some of the best Chinese (American style) that I have ever had. The Crab Rangoon’s are the best I have ever had and the Pepper shrimp appetizer was beyond good. Everything we had was loved and the portions are big. We’ll be back!
