This food is some of the best food in Philly. Arguably the best and most authentic Vietnamese food in the whole city. My boyfriend and I have been eating here for years, and the food is consistent in always being delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The menu is small, focused, and the drinks are always amazing and pair well with the food.
The owner and chefs are always so friendly, welcoming, and take pride in their food.
We can tell that they season and grill all of their food fresh.

Let’s start with the Banh Beo Chen! It’s a small-steamed rice cake topped with mushroom/grounded pork sauce. It came steaming hot and super delicious! Add a bit of fish sauce and hot chili and it will be the best thing you ever try!
The Mi Quang was also full of flavor. It’ll the mid-Viet style that is being transpire into their recipe. It reminds me of the true Miền Trung style food that you get from home.
The store was super clean and there is a wide variety of drinks as well. Their food menu is small but it focuses on the Mid region of Vietnam. We’ll be back to try more!

You can tell when a place owners take pride in their food. Cafe Hai Van has a small focused menu, food is legit with distinct flavors and fresh ingredients. Drinks are good too.
The host is super nice and friendly. I will come back to try the rest of the menu as today’s Bun mam and Bun Bo & Banh mi thịt nướng (grilled pork) are authentically delicious!

Very friendly staff that give proper recommendations based on what they have. One of the few authentic places for a great bowl Pho noodles that will definitely make you come back for more.
