We were here with Cajun Food Tours. What a treat!! We taste tested red beans and rice, pork, and fried plantain. Each dish was delicious! The flavors were very pleasant. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who happily answered our questions and was an overall great guy! Can’t wait to return to try more of their dishes! Thanks so much for having us!!

The atmosphere here was cool – I liked the little “nooks” where tables were placed along the walls. But the food is what we rate most overall: Honestly, my husband and I both felt this place was okay.. certainly not the best Cuban food either of us have ever had. – or Latin food in general. The meats were on the dry side (compared to others of the same dish we’ve had), and the plates as a whole were missing something flavor-wise. It was fine enough, but there’s room for improvement. It came highly recommended to us though, so I guess take my review with a grain of salt. We’ve eaten lots of good Latin foods with my husband from Latin America.

Fantastic service and quick too. The food was delicious and very thankful to the waitress who helped us make some decisions. Got the beef croquettes and maripositas for starters. Both delicious and filling. We then got some quick sandwiches – the Media Noche is so amazing.
It’s very well priced for all the food you get! I would highly recommend stopping here.

Excellent food. My husband is Cuban and I have been to Havana 6 times. I was so surprised to find their food to be very authentic. I totally wasn’t expecting that in Lafayette Louisiana! We ordered the bistec de cerdo with yucca, and rice and beans. Sooo delicious! Next time we are in town we will be back.
