Ate here two seperate weekends, ordered the gyro plate first then the lamb. Both were consistently cooked and flavored. I finished every grain of rice on my plate. She even gave me a little rice for my son. The portion is a perfect meal I can’t wait to try other menu items and return.

The gyro had 3 pieces of meat not even as big as a sandwich meat from the grocery store. It was 90% iceberg lettuce. Not worth $9 plus tip at all. Albis NY gyros are better and cheaper and packed full of value. Never eating here again. People are nice but not enough for the over priced food

Always delicious gyro plate! The hummus is also very flavorful. I’ve eaten here 25+ times, and it’s always great quality. The woman at the register is always kind and friendly to me when I order. This place is underrated!!

OMG, I just had the most delicious moussaka plate at Café Glendi! Full disclosure—I’ve never actually had moussaka before, but I know it can be bitter if it isn’t cooked correctly. I’m super particular about food—texture, flavor, and preparation all matter to me—and this dish was a perfect 10/10. If I lived here, I would make this meal my new obsession!

Ordered the Salmon plate off the specials board. The Salmon was bland, no real flavor, which was disappointing. The rice & salad were good, but not worth a repeat order of this dish. I’ll visit again, but try something else. Service was friendly and not a long wait.

This was a birthday meal. The food was OK. It’s a lighter fare and pruce like lighter fare served in the 5th street public market. Not too bad but could have been better. I was still a little hungry. I got the gyro plate, and it came with the salad, meat, rice, and pita. Like others have said, they do skimp on the meat. I fully expected more, and it would have rounded out the whole plate and made it feel a lot more worth the money, etc. The pita felt the store bought and not fresh. I could be wrong, but it just felt like bagged commercial pita that was toasted. They were out of lamb, which was disappointing. All together for $82 not including tip we got 2 bottles of water, an iced tea, a can of coke, a gyro plate, a gyro with a side of soup, a veg plate, a salmon salad, and a pita and humus plate. Run down of goods and oks: The hummus was very good, the taziki was lacking, the meat was good but sparse, I heard the salmon was good, the rice was good, the spanakopita was good, the soup was not a fave, dolmas were good, the qyro was a lot of lettuce not enough meat. The service was kinda like, “Do you even know what you want?” But she perked up when she realized how much we were going to order, and when handing us the food, it was a little more cheerful. Idk, I just feel like I get more food that’s similar and a better experience at Tradewinds. She could have also told us there was free cold iced water around by the bar. The view was ok, you can see the trains go by. The eateries are located on the 2nd floor. Directions take you to the back of the 5th Street public market, but you can park for free in their lot for 3 hrs. It’s tight, small parking spaces but doable.

The best Gyro in Eugene is also the least expensive! The lamb is tender, the rice flavorful and the salad is freshly made.

I ordered a gyro tonight and it was very disappointing. There was very little meat, only a single skinny piece. The rest was lettuce and sauce. I wish I had read the reviews first. I will not be returning.
