Visited cafe general for lunch !
We really loved the food !
We were recommended to try their dhan saag which is their Parsi cuisine specialty ! It was really good ! Their chicken chilly and pasta are also a must try ! The Royal falooda cannot be missed ! The view is amazing too..
When it comes to service Mr rusi Wadia made sure we were well taken care of and so did the other staff !!
We would overall rate this a 9/10 and must visit if you are looking for a rustic and chill dining experience .

I’ve been coming here since 2004 before it got renovated and now even better after renovation. Good crowd and reasonably priced drinks if you consider the location it is in.
One of the oldest bars in south mumbai and a must visit atleast once to feel the vibe of the place.
Also, to go along with the drinks some amazing starters and obviously the sizzler out here is a must try.

Now done up & new look.
I preferred the old open frontage.
Lovely place for eco booze but food is where they fall back on. Made to order dishes or altered dishes should be avoided.
Chaknas are average.
With the younger generation taking over lots can be changed.

This place has a old world charm and has all types of hard and soft drinks. It also has an old world charm juke box. The place is opposite to Chowpatty and has amazing views and breeze.

So I went to cafe general with my family and it’s was horrible…. most unwelcoming Staff but the decorum was nice . After wait for 20 min and asking for water we got the water … the staff was untrained for sure as we were 6 people and they give 4 glasses . After waiting for 1hr we got the food .. a kid was their with us and he was starving. After 1 hr the food came and it was totally tasteless and awful. All the items was served with the same sous . Ifood was overpriced and Chantilly was very less we ordered 3000 rs/- food which was barely Enough for us at starting but after eating it we realized the taste was so bad that we will not be needing more … the service and the food both were worst in class . It was really pathetic and I felt so bad for westing my money and time .

I ordered paneer mania pizza which was of 360 according to the menu price and pista kulfi of 130. They charged 410 for pizza and GST separately added again and 130 of kulfi. Overall on rs 540/- they added gst of 5 %. I asked about that and the old man at counter said that the tax is also applicable on food also. And overall, they charged rs 567 /-. Unnecessary they charge rs 67 Overcharging and misleading GST billing.
And also improve the quantity of the food. As per the pricing, the quantity of food is very less. Taste is good.

We ordered veg manchow soup & chicken mac n cheese.
While the ambience was good, the waiters were willing to help but the food and the overall service was disappointing.
The soup took 30+ mins and it took another 15 mins for the pasta to arrive.
The soup was okay but the pasta was super sweet. We had to make them redo it. Thankfully, the waiter was cooperative.
The bill took another 15 mins to arrive. Im not exaggerating about the time service.
