This establishment is a gift to all that visit or taste the treats produced by the owner. She is classically trained Gelato maestro and she is a master of her craft. We have been enjoying her treats for 10 years and e en though we don’t live in the area anymore, we still make special trips to visit the shop in Sneads Ferry and even make special arrangement to get our hands on some of that delicious Gelato. Our favorites are Pistachio, Chocolate Hazelnut, Coconut, Chocolate, also Mango Sorbet. In shop, we recommend the chicken and waffles and the macaroons. Crepes are great. She also offers classes for those who want to learn to make pizzas and sorbets.

I have been waiting to go and test the gelato for a while. It was worth the wait! The gelato tastes the way I remember it from Italian ice cream parlors, flavorful and creamy. I had the plum balsamic, and it was great, and of course, the chocolate was equally wonderful. The owner, Lisa, is super hospitable and takes the time to really give you a little insight by sharing her story. Both the owner and the gelateria are worth the visit. See and taste for yourself!

This place got roaches and the owner doesn’t look like she has showered in weeks. Deodorant would likely go a long way, but nothing would help her more than some hot water and dial antibacterial. Wouldn’t recommend eating this mediocre yet over priced food. I was so grossed out by the overall presentation of this establishment that I shouldn’t have even ordered anything. They need to pop on over to the dollar store and buy some fabuloso and bleach to get rid of that moldy mildewy smell.

Nice little place that’s just getting off the ground. Location is interesting. Staff was nice and it’s the only place around to get stuff like gelato, macarons, and biscotti, which were all excellent! The display case is one of a kind. Didn’t try any hot food; not sure if they were serving any at the time.

The blueberry cheesecake was amazing as were all the flavors. This is off the beaten path but worth the trip. The Gelato is made there and they have different flavors that you will not find at most ice cream shops.

Cafe Frutta Fresca was literally the most immersive and exquisite scoop of heaven during my brief stay in this quaint beach town!
I ordered the Fig pizza and it came out crafted in the shape of a heart drizzled with in house balsamic glaze. Organic Figs and arugula and the medley of cheese was the perfect blend for me!
I also ordered a large Gelato with the watermelon sorbet paired with the papaya gelato the perfect treat to combat the summers relentless heat. The flavors are so vibrant and tropical I see why they give you small spoons so that you can savor each drop of the gelato!
The Selection of Gelatos are hand Crafted artisanal marvels with eclectic and classic flavors sure to soothe the pickiest eaters!
All the staff is so knowledgeable about the array of products!
They recently had their three year anniversary and the owner Was there actually hand spinning cotton candy as a part of the celebration! It feels incredible to know that this is a establishment backed by its community!

I heard about Cafe Frutta Fresca through a friend and despite it being in the opposite direction of my intended destination it’s far surpassed my expectations! Cafe Frutta Fresca makes Surf City one of my favorite travel destinations hands down!

So fresh and delicious! I have never left Cafe Frutta Fresca Gelato disappointed and today was no exception. The turkey & leek quiche… it was phenomenal! I have already ordered another one for next week as this one did not stand a chance with friends and family around. You can just taste the freshness and quality in her ingredients and she pays such special attention to detail. I highly recommend Cafe Frutta Fresca Gelato. Lisa and her staff are always so friendly and professional!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and both had crepes. My husband had the berry crepe and I had the chicken and onion. Both were wonderful.
Mine was so flavorful and the chicken was all white meat. My husband enjoyed his very crepe.
Each order consisted of two crepes, so we ended up bringing the home and having them this evening. 6 hours later they were still very good.
We will be going back!
