Cafe Flora offers a beautiful and highly aesthetic dining experience right on the street. The interior is charming, feeling like stepping into a lush, bright conservatory, thanks to the huge glass windows that offer a great view of the street. The decor is anchored by a lovely floral wallpaper and a border of vibrant plants lining the window edges. Even the small indoor fountain adds a touch of peaceful charm.
We visited at 11 AM on a Sunday and, contrary to other reports, were immediately ushered to a table—a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious across the board and everything tasted incredibly fresh.
The Pumpkin Pancakes were the absolute highlight! They were wonderfully flavorful and hearty, truly embodying the fall spirit, and were filling without being too heavy. The Eggs with Goat Cheese were also a delicious and fresh choice; the quality of the ingredients wad great.
The drink experience was split: the Smoky Maple Latte was excellent—perfectly balanced and warming. However, the Dark Chocolate Matcha Latte was a miss. The blended flavors didn’t quite work together, and I couldn’t really appreciate the matcha or the chocolate distinctly.

‘Twas the night of Thanksgiving 2025 and things were pretty off at Cafe Flora. We had a reservation, showed up right on time, but were made to wait about 20 minutes until our table was ready. When we were seated, cocktails came around and they were tasty. We ordered off the prix fixe Thanksgiving menu and our soups and salads came fairly quickly, but then things just fell apart. It took 45 minutes to receive our entrées. The kids’ Shepherd Pies were piping hot, but the adults’ fare was assuredly not – luke-warm mains and cold sides. The manager came around and offered to re-fire the adults’ meals, and 10 minutes later we began again, but the meals were only moderately warmer – my vegetables and my friend’s pumpkin were well undercooked.
Dessert redeemed the experience somewhat – although the vegan pumpkin pie could have used a little more spice in its life, the conventional pies tasted really good.
I will say the manager deducted 25% off the bill for our experience, which was the right thing to do. But they were just too busy or unprepared for a holiday night.
Even the most revered restaurants have an off night. But an underwhelming meal with a big bill at the end left us disappointed in the experience.
We’ll be back again – but for brunch!

Visited this location in October 2025 on a weekday.
This place has a cool menu! Some really nice vegetarian friendly dishes on a random weekday. The hot chocolate was tasty and not too sweet. The pumpkin cinnamon roll was large but easily shared with others. The entree was solid. Garlic greens were a surprise for me but quite the hit.
Service and atmosphere was top notch and no concerns.
Would absolutely visit again when in the Seattle area.

My boyfriend and I grabbed brunch here yesterday and it was incredible! The atmosphere, service, cinnamon roll, and chai latte were all amazing, but the roasted potato and scallion Belgian waffle was a holy experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had a lovely birthday dinner here with my folks. We ordered the Warm Cambozola, Apple and Brie Pizza, Italian Black Bean Burger, and the Crispy Chickpea Panisse. Highly recommend the Panisse and Pizza. We liked both above the burger although everything was great. Beautiful dining atrium with a water feature and the staff was kind and helpful as well. I hope to be back soon!

The food a ok. Not a fan. Coming from NY this was really meh. Didn’t get the squash in eggs. Mochi beignet was interesting. The grits was simply amazing. Quaint place, but very underwhelming on the flavors. Could return on the next trip just for the grits.

Came here on a Sunday for brunch with a friend (about 10:30) and the wait was 30 minutes or so. I gave this place 3 stars because of the disappointment in our experience. I had no expectations and I was still let down. We ordered the pumpkin spice cinnamon roll and it lacked the pumpkin flavor, but it was still really good for a cinnamon roll. I’d also recommend it being served with the knife on the side, it was stabbed through the center like it was murdered before serving and while we did visit near Halloween time, nothing about this dish necessitated a knife sticking straight up into it (also bad for pics)
We ordered the mochi beignets and those were disappointingly dense. I was hoping it was pillowy and chewy but the batter tasted like it still had unmixed flour and it came out very hard and didn’t pair well with the sauce.
We ordered a pear tartine (not pictured) that also wasn’t as good as we hoped. The pear could have been cooked longer to get softer, it was served on a sourdough slice which we didn’t expect though could be errr on our part not reading the description, but what got us was that the hazelnuts were not good. They tasted like they had been sitting around long enough for the oils in the nuts to spoil and go rancid, not to mention it was still raw and not toasted which could have disguised that taste a little better, not that I would have preferred that.
The one thing that I did enjoy at Cafe Flora was the smoked maple latte. The smell was incredible and tasted amazing with oat milk sub. Ambience and service were great but food was a huge miss for us this visit

My favorite spot for brunch in Seattle! The cafe has a tiny parking lot (about ~5 spots) and typically ample free street parking.

The decor is floral/plant centric with a beautiful atrium set in the middle of the restaurant.

Brunch is their bread and butter. We’ve had dinner a couple times and it can be hit or miss. Brunch on the weekend never disappoints and has a rotating seasonal menu.

Brunch on the weekends can be busy, but if you show up before 10am, you can typically be sat right away.

Cafe Flora is an amazing brunch spot! The interior is beautiful, especially the atrium. The balance of flavors in their dishes is amazing! My favorite dish has been their risotto, but I’ve loved everything else I have had. Yam fries are a must!!

I also highly recommend all of the desserts! I have yet to be disappointed. The Eton Mess is especially tasty: light & fresh, sweet, tart, perfectly balanced

Their drinks are also exceptionally well-crafted! I’m a sucker for the black sesame latte or the mango-passionfruit nog if you want something lighter.

The service has always been wonderful. Staff is kind and attentive, and the one time there was a mix up, they own up to it and did their best to offer alternatives.

Suitable for all group sizes, but you will have a shorter wait time if you dine alone or with 2 people. However, it is definitely worth the wait, as evidence by the line out the door you often see at Cafe Flora.

Went there on a relaxing Friday evening and was really impressed by the atmosphere and the vibe. When it came to food the menu felt very limited. So we decided to order their speciality coffee burnt maple latte. We liked the hot version better than iced (was too sweet). We also ordered coconut cake (dry, and the filling was mostly just sugar, extremely disappointed considering it was for $14 and I couldn’t eat even half of it). The pear almond clafoutis was nice but again not worth the price. Overall quite dissatisfied with the whole food experience.
