BEST Restaurant in Cromwell. Wonderful atmosphere, soft lighting and huge wrap around bar, makes this spot a diamond in the rough! The food is hand made daily. Best dishes are by far the Veal Fiore and The Shrimp Scampi. Their meatball appetizer is delicious and pairs perfectly with their garlic bread knots. The most distinguishable aspect about this restaurant are their Servers. Who are masters of their craft, pleasant and classy. The bartenders make an amazing extra dirty martini. This has become our favorite spot for dinner.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is relaxing and nice. The service is quick and friendly. And the best part is the food. I’ve been here many times and they were never being disappointed. The food is always delicious. The ingredients are always fresh. I would highly recommend. And it’s a very decent place to treat guests or families.

Not often I give a five star rating but my experience this evening warranted it. Both my dinner, Lasagna with a Meatball Appetizer and the wonderful waitress (Maggie I believe) were great. This was my first time back since it changed from the old Baci. I will certainly be back.

We reserved a dinner for 20 people. As the group arrived, the table was prepared well in advance of our arrival and were promptly seated and drink orders taken. There was very little delay in the delivery of the appetizers. The entrees did not overlap the social time of the appetizers, but were expertly delivered to all 20 dinners simultaneously so all could enjoy at the same time. The execution was flawless, and the wait staff never let a glass sit empty without an offer to refresh. Well done!

We visited before 5 on a Saturday without a reservation, and they accommodated us; but definitely should make a reservation on busier days. My wife’s scallops, sons pasta with meatballs and my Lobster ravioli were all good, would recommend if your in the area and want a very good meal in a well run restaurant. The garlic knots instead of bread were a surprise and delicious. Service was a mixed from the two servers we had, seemed just to be a language issue so maybe this is just very authentic Italian. Only complaint was they were out of nearly every beer on draft; but that could just be a delivery issue; so not a big deal should drink wine in a Italian restaurant anyhow.

Our server, Romeo, was top notch, engaging when needed and staying away while we ate and engaged in convo. The food was excellent and the portions extremely generous. The house montepulciano was better than expected. Shrimp Fra Diavolo was spicy without being overpowering and the Portobello mushroom appetizer might be the best thing on the menu.
