I accidentally happened onto this gem of a place when I needed a replacement cafe for a small get together. I’m so happy I did! The atmosphere is cozy and laid back, I felt welcome to stay if I needed to. The chocolate pieces and sweets were scrumptious and the chicken and waffle was absolutely amazing. They paid extra attention to my mom who can’t have extra sugar due to her tastes being off from Chemo. The coffee was also good.

I will be back.

Went for the first time today (Tuesday morning) and were honestly underwhelmed given the numerous five star reviews on google. The space and food is aesthetically gorgeous, but the functional aspects are lacking all around.

Like yes it’s very pretty and spacious..but choose your seat wisely (if you can) because low couches may be difficult to sit at while eating (if the dirty floor covered in old pastry flakes by the couch near the Middlebelt road entrance is anything to go by).

I would NOT recommend coming here if you are in any sort of time crunch; we were the only customers when we placed our orders at 9:35, and though only one other paying customer came in we didn’t get our first item (Z’atar croffle) until 9:46, we unfortunately ate this without benefit of any drinks as we wanted to eat it while it was warm, then two of our three drinks (iced matcha and a glass of water) and our bakery case items weren’t given to us until 9:56, and the Italian hot chocolate wasn’t ready until 10:15AM.

Did everything look great? Yes. Was the hot chocolate rich and impressive? Absolutely. It’s basically just a melted cup of rich dark chocolate.

Would it have been a much nicer experience if they communicated to us that the hot chocolate would take that long/e us our bakery case items and waters right after we paid/tipped at the counter? Yes absolutely. Because 45 minutes for a cup of melted chocolate in an empty cafe on a Tuesday morning is a bit much no matter how pretty it looks.

Other than the long wait; another odd thing is that for such a large space they don’t have bathroom stalls, just two single occupant restrooms (and they were out of paper towels) so this place could be really excellent, if they thought a bit more about function over form.

Great service from Moe! He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The tea and crepe were delicious, and the smoothie was just as good. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My first visit to Cafe Europe was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. A woman met us at the entrance, made eye contact, and gave us a very strange and hostile look. There was no greeting, no “hello,” no acknowledgment beyond that uncomfortable stare.

No one welcomed us No one smiled. The overall energy felt negative and cold. Instead of feeling like valued customers, we felt like we were not wanted there.

Because of the unfriendly and uncomfortable vibes, we decided to leave. As we were walking out, she asked if everything was okay. We honestly told her that the energy felt unwelcoming and made us uncomfortable.

We chose to take our business elsewhere somewhere customers are greeted warmly, treated with respect, and made to feel appreciated.
No wonder why the place was EMPTY

Hardest part of this visit was narrowing down what we wanted to eat off the menu since everything looked amazing.

The manager, Afifa, was so warm and welcoming, the staff was attentive about making sure the products aligned with our tastes which is so important with coffee. Food and coffee was AMAZING, get the croffle (croissant waffle).

Thank you for the wonderful visit, will be back when im back in town

First off, I’d like to give an honorable and genuine shout out to to owner, Ahmed for making mine and my sister’s first time experience an unforgettable one. Absolutely most kind and humble person I’ve met. Truly a special person and shop here.

The products here are made from scratch by hand and with pure love. The truffles are something special and what really made this experience top notch. You’d be committing a crime not trying them. As an added bonus, Ahmed let us try the tiramisu totally on the house out of sheer generosity. In my humble opinion, this is some of the best halal tiramisu in MI. Keep in mind, I’ve been to over 100+ coffee shops with a very calibrated taste for quality, this is truly special and a must try. Be warned, you will be addicted here.

The shop is very stunning, great ambience, top notch bathrooms and very comfortable seating arrangement. This shop is very spacious, able to accommodate most patrons. If you’re looking for a one of a kind experience, look no further, this is hands down a top 3 shop for me. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Thank you again to the amazing experience and ever lasting impression

This place was elegantly designed and the croffle was out of this world! Combined Belgian with another chocolate. And though the portion wasn’t big and was $15, it was o e of the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life. Is it good for your body? No. Is it good for your soul? Absolutely.

Checked out Europe Café in Garden City — a brand new spot with a big spacious interior and really nice decor. I didn’t try their famous waffles yet (you definitely should!), but I got the strawberry matcha and iced pistachio and they were both good.

The owner was so sweet and even gave us tiramisu on the house. Such a cozy vibe and great experience. Definitely worth checking out!
