My buddy took my wife and I here for brunch after we finish our hike. He been here before and recommended it for lunch because he said their French toast is amazing. This is a mom and pop type of breakfast place so it’s not well known. When we arrived, he parked on the street and they seated us in their tent dining area. My friend went with their French toast, my wife got the scallops and mushroom omelet and I went with their French waffles. The size of my waffle was pretty big but I don’t think it was worth the price of the food. The syrup I think they give with it is sugar free because it wasn’t sweet to me and the French waffle had a plain taste. My wife and my friend enjoyed their dish. Our dish also come with the side of fruits but it was only like 2 pieces of orange and 1 strawberry. The service we received here was amazing, our waiter was attentive to our table. If you dine inside the restrauant, the second floor dining room will remind me of eating back in the old days. They only have 1 bathroom here so be aware of that.

The first experience: Ordered Crab Benedict, French toast and Scallop&Mushrooms Omelette. Food was great! French toast was the best! I definitely recommend the place for breakfast.

Lovely cafe with friendly staff! The food was exactly what we asked for and more. I really enjoyed the House special French Toast. The lemon custard was perfect between the bread. The house hollandaise was delightfully simple. Hefty portions on each plate we definitely had some to take to go. Will be happy to return!

Hot damn that is a delicious salmon benedict. The muffin was nearly as large as my head. The relaxing covered deck makes for a great breakfast experience.

Old school French Vietnamese food that is expertly prepared, painfully delicious and delivered by sweet and knowledgeable staff. Cute old house, order mochas, creamed spinach omelet or French toast from heaven…but everything is excellent! Wow.

Nice and cozy restaurant in SW Portland. Their menu was leaning towards eclectic. I just got the appetizer and some coffee. But the stuffed fig was delicious. Bread was on the house, Coffee had unlimited refills. Their entrees were pricey for sure.

Holy smokes I was blown away by breakfast! Simple menu with items they’ve perfected and friendly service. The peppercorn gravy on my steak was phenomenal. Definitely in my top 5 for breakfast in town, made even better by having reservations.

Good service and my over-medium eggs were perfectly cooked. But the toast was Oroweat. Shouldn’t a French cafe serve French bread?!

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Cafe du Berry makes the world’s best omelettes so I was tempted to order the morel omelette for dinner but I opted for the saffron papardelle pasta instead and it didn’t disappoint. They don’t skimp on the saffron if you like saffron, this is the dish for you. My wife had the halibut which was cooked perfectly… succulent and moist. This is our favorite restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
