Very warm and welcoming , nice setup. The food here is very comforting, club sandwich with pickles chips along with a cup of beef stew and, chicken salad. The pies there make me do my happy dance they are so good!! Pictured is the coconut cream pie just beautiful. The millionaire pie is the one to try the most! (one of my favorites) Don’t forget to check out the shop next door on the corner.

My favorite restaurant in the whole state. Last time we were in town we extended our vacation because they were closed Memorial day.

Hands down, the very best place to eat in the State of Oklahoma besides Grandma’s house. We love you Clinton cafe. The freshest, most creative menu, best soups and desserts, best variety of drinks ( 5* iced tea selection.) Staff is friendly, service is quick.

First off, let me start by saying I found the proprietor, an older lady with a quick smile and friendly disposition, to be a kind in that warmly Southern way that is the pride of our great country’s lower latitudes. The establishment was clean enough, as were the bathrooms. The big windows in the front let it ample light if you choose those tables, and the younger woman behind the register was as helpful as she could be. On the way to the back restroom there was a table of random old ladies playing cards, which was a cute Norman Rockwell scene crowned in country charm as pure as their permed hair was white. That being said, this isn’t so much a critique as a plea to the owner: PLEASE revamp your whole operation. Don’t take it out on the ladies in the kitchen, who were nice enough and doing their best with your constrained menu and ingredient quality, instead, change the entire menu. Everything was overpriced, terrible in flavor, and of the quality one would expect from institutional food from a medium sized psychiatric facility. I cite that instead of a prison because you’d have to be nuts to feel the flavor of this food was anything more than comparable to bland wood chips, less the wood and minus the chips. Salt couldn’t add flavor if it tried (so barren was want for anything approaching savory), and what taste there was was about as bad as Hillary Clinton’s reelection prospects in 2028. The one positive was a table of random hot sauces offered for customers, but in fact I wanted to pour this into my eyeballs as self-punishment for allowing myself to be duped into paying for the hack of a meal they passed off as food. I don’t understand the few overweight people I saw in town if this is the type of sustenance locals eat. The one positive lining, besides the aforementioned positives, was that it didn’t make me sick, but if I wanted sterile food I would just stick to the MRE’s I used to eat on deployment. Clinton deserves better, and if you want to support local, I’d head over to the great lil’ cafe a block off in the old lumber mill.

Fantastic place to eat. Pie is to die for. Staff friendly and efficient. Food is excellent. I had turkey sandwich with potato soup and wife had chicken salad. We both raved about the quality. First class. If you want to experience good old fashioned hospitality, stop by for a delightful meal. Save room for pie! We wIll make it a point to stop each and every time we pass through.

I am visiting from out of town and came in for a quick lunch. The place was very nice and clean with friendly staff. I ordered the cobb salad and it was delicious! I would definitely come back if I come to Clinton again.
