I love mom & pops businesses. They are the soul of a charming town. Large Corporate plazas and malls with chain establishments are soulless and part of systematic consumrism.
During the christmas lighting event it was extremely crowded, like a can of sardines. Im talking less than a foot of personal space.
Anyway, everything looked homemade. Unfortunately I don’t like American or Italian ice cream. Its just way too sweet. My kids enjoyed though. Licked up every drop.

As soon as we walked in, no one attended to us. After a few minutes, we sat at a table with very stained chairs and a waiter told us that the restaurant was already closed and that they only had coffee and ice cream. After a few more minutes, we realized that we had to order directly at the counter, which the waiter who initially attended us never mentioned. They have no idea how to prepare a good coffee. We ordered one with caramel and vanilla, and it tasted like watered-down coffee. Very bad service. While we were waiting for our drinks to be prepared, many people came in and, after not receiving any attention, left. I do not recommend it.

Nicely located in George Street. Stopped by and it was fairly empty. Grabbed a table and ordered two crepes, a coffee and a beer at the counter.
Crepes and beer were good. Coffee average. Service OK.
Nicely decorated inside and ambience was nice.

We have visited twice so far…and we plan to visit café, Del Hildago, ice cream and food again during our stay here. We ordered paninis and the last visit was for gelatos, both were fantastic. Mostly, the folks serving us were very kind. The last visit was late, right before closing time and we were greeted with big smiles and heaps of gelato! What more can you ask for? Like I said, when the food and desserts are great and service is even better that makes for special memories.

A cozy cafe with limited seating. The space felt crowded at times, especially with lines for the gelato stand, coffee bar, and table seating in close proximity. I wasn’t a fan of the cobwebs hanging from the ceiling beams and some dirty tables, so a bit more attention to cleanliness would improve the overall feel of the place. The menu is limited to sandwiches and small plates, and the service was slower than expected. While the food was just okay, the dessert and coffee really stood out to me!

Delicious and quaint
My friend and I stopped in here to get out of the rain, and didn’t expect much.
We ordered a Cuban sandwich and a Ruben, as well as some hot chocolate to warm us up.
There isn’t much seating and its odd that you pay up at a counter, but it’s a very nice place
The food was fantastical and much better than expected! The Ruben especially was exceedingly good (although we held the sauerkraut).
And the hot chocolate was the cherry on top, loved it here and will definitely stop by again!

Food was meh, employees really need to work getting along with each other, one guy (near the icecream) tells me to go to the next cashier, then the other lady (near the bar) is like yeah we don’t take orders here. She finally agreed to take my order and rolling her eyes every time I asked for something, then she couldn’t figure out how to use the tablet and kept rolling her eyes complaining she shouldn’t have to be taking my order. Honestly right there my review went down to 1 star and should’ve walk away. Then this older guy very friendly pushed her away and took my order while been very friendly. (Up to 3 stars now).

Price would be normal compared to other places nearby and understanding this is a tourist area BUT after the unlimited rolling eyes and bad attitude from that lady near the bar, even if it was free it would be too expensive.

One more thing, apparently they only can do 1 crepe at the time, we ordered 3 and it took for ever, we received 1 at the time and by the time the 3rd one showed up everyone else was done eating.

Long story short… you’ll better going the the waffle place a few ft from here.

This was on 12/12/2025 The place look nice and cozy, not to many people inside. Sat down at a table looked at the menu waiting for the server to come to the table and not one server came to the table. Went to the counter and there were 3 workers there, they all looked at me and just stood there. Went back to the table and after a few minutes went back up to the counter and placed an order to go. I purchased the New Yorker and it was not something to brag about. Lousy sandwich and lousy server. Went to Bull and Crown afterwards and the service was 10 times better and the burger was delicious

The gelato and desserts are heavenly! You can’t get anything better than the gelato filled crepes. They are very large so one order is enough for two or three people. There are many flavors of gelato to choose from. They have an assortment of beer and all kinds of hot and iced coffee drinks. They do serve food also. If you are on a budget or just want to have a sandwich or salad, this is a great place to go. It is less expensive than most of its competitors in the downtown Historic area. The staff is friendly. You order at the register and they bring your food out. They make fresh squeezed lemonade all day. I can’t recommend it enough. It is worth a drive downtown just to have a coffee and some crepes here! The toasted marshmallow is my absolute favorite gelato.

Visited on a hot Tuesday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. Got a table and got some delicious gelato as we waited for our food. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! They have a ton of different flavors of gelato (all of them fresh and amazing) and their sandwiches are just as great. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat or are looking for a place to rest in air conditioning
