The coffee and food were nothing super unique but the vibes inside were immaculate, very cozy and a classic taste of Vienna. They are very busy so seating can get snatched up quickly, but they also turn off WiFi when it gets busy so computer campers leave.
I think their affogato would absolutely slap so I would like to return to try. I quite liked the turkey panini — reminded me of one of my favorite turkey clubs in LA! They do have a small parking lot, which is an absolute godsend on Church Street.

Found this lil spot in Vienna to grab a quick bite. This place reminded me of a breakfast shop I went to in Italy. The staff here is extreme friendly and kind. The croissants were the best I’ve had in this area. The most buttery, flakey, and soft croissant. I got the egg and cheese on croissant and a pistachio lattes (recommended by the staff). Both were very delicious. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is because of the prices. I did feel like paying over $30 for one reg coffee, one latte and two breakfast sandwiches is too much. The service did take a while, I believe it’s one person working behind the counter making drinks. So they usually will complete the drink order before they begin taking other orders. It wasnt too efficient.

It was my first time visiting Cafe De Vienna today and I ordered a skim caramel iced latte and an avocado toast. The iced latte wasn’t anything special, just a regular iced latte, however the avocado toast was delicious and it was a great serving size, it was one large slice of rustic sourdough bread, enough to share between two people. The service was a little slow but it was a rather busy time for them. The owners were very kind and sweet, and they truly made every order with care. The cafe is located in a great area within Vienna, VA and overall, everything seemed clean, just a little older due to the nature of the house that the cafe is located in. Thank you! ☺️

Amazing little cozy Cafe at the heart of Vienna. Service was fantastic and friendly. It was a little slow but they were super busy. Seemed like a family run environment with a fantastic outdoors patio. Passionate folks. Ordered the avacado toast and it was fantastic with a large well toasted bread. The iced latte was just ok a little bland. The only issue is the place is really old and needs a really good renovation or shakeup of the decor. Will come again. Restroom available but limited.

We came across this place by chance and loved it! The setting is cozy and comfortable. Had a delightful breakfast, including my amazing home-style scrambled eggs with cheese (no bread since I needed to be gluten-free). The flavor was out of this world. The staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommend this quaint cafe.

I was really looking forward to trying Café de Vienna, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. We ordered sandwiches that were extremely soggy and dripping to the point they were difficult to even pick up. The texture was unappetizing, and the overall flavor just wasn’t good.
We ended up leaving without eating them or taking them home, which says a lot because we rarely waste food. I truly hope this was just an off day, but based on our visit, we wouldn’t return for the sandwiches. Eftezahh !

We had the Chipotle Chicken panini and the Cuban panini. So delicious!! Such a cute space and the owners were the nicest people! Can’t wait to go back to try the other sandwiches, and the ice cream!

Parking was easy to find. The location was also easy to find and located in a walkable neighborhood. I grabbed a chai and walked around as there is lots to explore. The service was fast. Was able to use tap to pay. There is lots of seating and the cafe is quiet and a place I could sit in for a few hours to read or work. The staff are friendly. The chai was delicious and the pastries and ice cream looked good. The cafe appears to be clean.

TASTE (6/10):
Tried ginger tea, honestly, not great. Also had a saffron tiramisu (not pretty sure it was Iranian style), and despite my high hopes… it was a letdown.
PRICE (8/10):
Very reasonable overall! (Except the dessert, that one felt a bit overpriced.)
SERVICE (7/10):
No extra service magic, but everything worked fine.
ATTITUDE (9/10):
Staff were welcoming and kind-hearted. Good vibes!
PLACE (8/10):
Cozy atmosphere, but those hardcore wooden chairs definitely scream “Eat, sip, and get out fast!” In such place, this might be on purpose, I guess.
CLEANLINESS (9/10):
Everything was neat and clean, no complaints at all.
ADDITIONAL FEES / HIDDEN COSTS (10/10):
None.
Bonus points for the parking lot. 6–8 cars could fit, and even on a Sunday, parking was easy around.
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
I liked the place despite the disappointing dessert and hardcore chairs. Would I go again? Yeah, probably. Just not for the tiramisu.
