Café de Paris in Geneva is exceptional. If there were a 10-star rating, this place would deserve it. The steak and fries were absolutely amazing—so good I’ll be craving this meal for years. The simple salad was just as memorable, and the service was excellent throughout.
While Geneva was lovely, this restaurant alone makes the trip worth repeating. It’s not all-you-can-eat as we initially thought, but every bite was worth the price. We spent about $200 for two, including a liter of red wine, and I’d do it again without hesitation.

Amazing food, great service. I don’t understand all the fools saying they “only serve one dish” – yes that’s what’s so great about it!
The beef was sensational.
Advice: Don’t go if you don’t want steak? Its not that difficult to understand that.

Amazing experience at Café de Paris – Chez Boubier. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything was perfectly executed — a must-visit place. Highly recommended!

Poor experience
Avoid if anyone of your family members don’t eat beef. The restaurant is incredibly rigid. We offered to pay the full meal price for a side of fries just so our family could stay together, but they refused.
Very unfriendly service and absolutely no “human touch.” They clearly don’t care about the customer experience, only their strict rules. Very disappointing for a family dinner.
Notes: beef is so dry

Well I have high expectation, however it didn’t suit to my taste. I tried several cafe de Paris sauce before and I would say this one is not my cup of tea. The beef also dried, seems like it’s pre cooked before. Wish they pay more attention on their quality so they can keep up with their reputation as the founder of cafe de Paris.

Totally fabulous. Stumbled in by chance on a busy Sunday. Had the best, most authentic, Parisien lunch I think I’ve ever had. And I’ve lived in France for 20 years. And yes I know I was in Switzerland! Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Café de Paris – Chez Boubier in Geneva offers an unforgettable dining experience with its iconic Entrecôte Café de Paris. The perfectly cooked steak, paired with the rich, aromatic butter sauce, is the star of the show. The classic Parisian ambiance adds to the charm, and the attentive service ensures a memorable meal. While it’s a bit on the pricier side, the quality and tradition make it well worth the visit. A must-try for steak lovers!

Great experience, the service was lovely and the sirloin steak divine, one of the best I’ve ever had, juicy and tasty, melting off your tongue ( we had it medium rare).

The sauce is one of greatest secrets there is in gastronomy. It has been more than 20 years that I first tasted this incredible and very tasteful dish. Today you can find a lot of restaurants which offer this plate but all of them taste very different. The similarity is that you eat fries as much as you can. If you love meat, you need to come here.

Delicious. Order their special: steak frites. It’s a steak presented on a bed of herb butter and 3 servings of fries. Yes, 3 separate servings. You will not go home hungry. The athmosphere and decor are also great. I actually felt like I was in a brasserie in Paris. It is well located, in a busy and somewhat touristy part of the city. It is easily accessible by walking.
