Food was okay nothing spectacular! I ordered via DoorDash it took over an hour for me to get the food but it was packaged with care. The portion size was fair and the bread was really good. The soup was good.

Our meal was delicious. I had lamb. My wife had chicken. For dessert, we shared a piece of pecan pie. It was the worst tasting pie I had ever eaten. Service was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was wonderful.

I got the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend got the ham and cheese crepe. He also order a cup of Cafe Mocha.
We LOVE the atmosphere here as well as the food! They received a lot of grub hub orders while we ate, but I feel like those people are missing the experience!
We had Danielle as our server and she was sweet, attentive, and made sure we were happy. The food was great! My chicken tasted so good, fresh, and juicy. The waffles were nice and fluffy. The crepe was also excellent and the ham had so much flavor! The potatoes & hash browns were also superb! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Also loved the touch of fresh flowers! You just don’t get that anywhere nowadays.

My first time here and really enjoyed it. Good selection, great service and nice atmosphere. We had a group meeting and they have very nice back room for small to medium sized groups. Will definitely be back because there are so many items on the menu I want to try. This trip I had an omelette which was great. Also tried the fruit smoothie – very good with breakfast and more like a fruit drink than a slushy.

Cozy inside with obligatory seating outside in keeping with the namesake. The inside is decorated in a manner to enjoy one’s meal or to converse without distractions.
The Florentine Crepes were superior than any we’ve had in recent memory – no unnecessary drizzles just very soft and smooth crepes with lightly sauteed spinach.
The Veggie Omelette was overcooked to the extent that the internal moisture was partially lost. The veggies themselves were forgettable. The hash browns were a pure delight (for my personal liking but, of course, your opinion may differ) – good color, good taste and, perfect portion size.
The regular coffee was served lukewarm but immediately refreshed at the right temperature. The Espresso Doble was really not espresso but I didn’t want to complain.
There are some selections of pastries and petit fours that are sublime but the prices too wanna climb! Can’t blame the chef for making us happy victims for the delights.

First time there and was not disappointed! The escargot was so delicious! Also would recommend the Chicken with artichokes, Chicken cordon Bleu, and the rack of lamb. Also our waitress was exceptional and provided great service. I believe her name was Lisa.

My wife and I chose Café de France for Valentine’s Day and made a 7:00 pm reservation through OpenTable. Unfortunately, the evening was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, we were told the restaurant had been overbooked due to a website malfunction. We waited about 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, with no apology or clear explanation from the staff.
While waiting, there was live music, which was a nice touch, but it was oddly paired with propaganda-style news playing on the TV, which felt out of place for a romantic setting. Once seated, service was very slow and inconsistent. At least five other parties who were seated after us were served before us, and despite arriving earlier, we ended up being one of the last tables to leave the restaurant.
When the food finally arrived, my wife’s dish was missing an entire side. My steak, ordered medium well, came out very rare. I pointed this out, and instead of preparing a new steak, it appeared to be the same one simply cooked longer and returned to me. The food overall was just okay to mediocre.
Because the meal took so long, the dessert I wanted was no longer available by the time we finished our main course. Despite the multiple issues throughout the evening, there was no apology or effort made to correct the situation. We even observed another table receiving a discount, while we were offered nothing, despite remaining polite and patient the entire night.
Valentine’s Day is a special occasion, and we chose this restaurant hoping for a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling overlooked and very disappointed.

this place has a very cozy atmosphere to it, a very welcomed break from the milennial gray or tacky themes that you see in most restaurants now a days. the ambiance and atmosphere are what i love the most. it’s not very common to find restaurants who have both food and *good* coffee. their coffee selection is decent and actually tastes really good!
