Easily the most consistent dinner experience in Ayrshire. The quality of the food, the attentive service, the incredible value.. Cafe Da Vinci is consistently faultless. A true staple of Kilmarnock that never fails.

It’s a busy place. For a couple, it might be too noisy. You feel you need to shout to talk to each other. Might be a good place to have a gathering . Staff are friendly and the food is decent. Cocktails were not so appealing but okay. Reasonable choices of food and drinks. You have to pay extra if you want gluten free.

Lovely little restaurant. Excellent service, friendly staff, cozy vibes.
Gluten free pasta/ pizza bases available. They do pick up takeaways, but need to be contacted directly. You will need to check availability before you go (particularly if coming from a distance) as they are very busy and their regular clientel do book in advance. I have been several times, and have been unlucky several times when chancing my luck on an impulsive visit.

Really gorgeous restaurant with even better food. This is such a hidden gem. I’m not from Kilmarnock so was absolutely thrilled to find this hidden gem. It is such an authentic Italian restaurant. We decided to go last minute and were lucky enough to get a late table last night. We had one starter and 2 mains. I’d say this was just the right amount of food for us. Drinks were nice. Good wine list and variety. Staff were really helpful, friendly and attentive. Menu had a good selection and left you unsure what to have cause there were so many nice dishes on it. It is definitely a place I would like to return to to work my way through the menu. We got the lasagne and the spagetti bol for mains. Really lovely night with a good atmosphere. Would highly recommend

So for the second year running you have managed to ruin our post christmas/new year catch up with our friends. Both years takeaway food….one person vegetarian….but her simple pasta dish has had meat in it both times…..last year worse as had bought voucher as gift for your establishment as a gift & embarrassedto give after this “cock up”….what the hell is wrong you can’t make veg dishes without contaminating them with meat?…..She is a good customer…… she may return i certainly won’t….you really need to look at the way you prep food…..absolutely not good enough….

Been a fan since it was in the Vennel
in Irvine. Went for a Xmas set menu lunch
My wife chose the Turkey Xmas plate.
Right away the presentation was suspect.
Instead of the gravy being in a side pot.
The plate was swimming in a water stock up to the brim of the flat plate .
I could see she was struggling with it , I asked what was wrong and said the it ( the stock) was loaded with salt .
She did eat the 2 pigs in blankets.
When the waitress lifted our plates and obviously my wife’s untouched I told her that it was inedible due to the over salting.
Thought we might have had a reply from front of house but none came.
Paid the bill and left a tip as the serving girls with efficient and attentive.
I’m sure if Dominic was there he would have noticed an untouched plate and dealt with the customer and had words wit the kitchen
