These enchiladas were a special- 3 sauce enchiladas and they were amazing! The chicken soup was heavier than I thought it was going to be but still delicious.
Servers were hustling with how many customers they had but they did great, very coordinated! Atmosphere was also a vibe.
But by far the best thing is the hand made flour tortillas, whatever you do, order a side of tortillas to have!!
And of course we each got a topo chico to quench our thirst!

A lively place with good Mexican food. It seems quite popular in the area as it was fully booked with more people coming in!
Food was good. Service was ok… we had to wait for a while to place the order and get the food as well.
The tables are quite small to fit 4 people and are placed very close to each other making it quite congested.
The margarita flight was quite interesting. It had 5 flavours of margaritas- mango, cucumber, pineapple, pomegranate, spicy watermelon

Service and atmosphere were great…. Food was just okay for us. I was really hoping for the food to taste more authentic and for me it just didn’t. The chips and salsa that came were okay… the salsa was thick and tasted more like tomato paste than a salsa. I never thought you could mess up salsa but here you can. We got two tacos on the side one carne asada and one carnitas for the tacos to be $8.95 each they were not worth the price. The carnitas was pretty good but the carne asada was just okay. You could get better tacos for a taco truck!
We also got the cucumber margaritas!!! These were legit so good and totally worth it.
Our server Noah was on top of things, and very polite! Great service from him.
There was a girl going around taking pictures and we told her several times no! She kept coming back to ask over and over which I think is rude. We already told you no 3 times and you came back 2 more times! That was super annoying.
They also had two guy going around to sing! They were awesome!! We had two song request from Luis Miguel and they sang them!
I would go back for the drinks but as far as the food I would try a different spot instead!

Trevor, the general manager is a first class operator and engages customers with intention and courtesy. Try the pumpkin flan! You don’t want to miss this amazing San Diego icon! Our server, Javier,, was the best!

As soon as we walked up to the place the atmosphere was amazing! Lots of papel picado draping from the roofs and huge general area to sit, with choice of inside and outside seating. Very busy which did not hinder food preps thankfully. My fish tacos were messy but delicious and the churros made an excellent dessert to end the night off. I also bought this long sleeve shirt as a souvenir (wearing right now) and it’s very cozy. Would love to return again when we’re back in the area!

Best Margaritas we had in San Diego. Cute little restaurant that offers indoor or outdoor dining and some seats offer a view of the Whaley House. I had the Coyote Fries and they were delicious. The had live music and photos taken at each table that you could purchase. Fun evening!

The tortilla chips were really delicious! Shortly after we sat down, they brought us a complimentary basket of tortilla chips with salsa dipping sauce, and it was really tasty
We ordered tacos with buttered fish, and a rice plate with beef and one with shrimps. Everything tasted great.
It was our first time trying Mexican food, and we ended up eating way too much—in the best way!
Tip: make a reservation before you go!

This was my first time trying Mexican cuisine, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. The staff was so attentive, and not only that, but the food was beyond my expectations. So delicious, especially considering it was my first time!
