Had breakfast here this morning. They were very accommodating and even accommodated my gluten allergy. They had gluten free options, which were gluten free pancakes, bread, and burgers. They even toasted my bread in a pan so I didn’t get any cross contamination with the shared toaster. I so appreciate places that take that extra time to make sure I can enjoy my meal without worrying about my food. My husband had the country fried steak which is not gluten free, and he said it was the best country fried steak he has ever had.

We had driven by here countless times and never noticed it. I’m not really a food court kinda guy, so to discover this place, essentially in a strip mall, surprised me.
The dining room is divided in two. It is pleasantly spacious. The next table wasn’t right on top of us. Fewer tables also seemed to make for a much quieter room.
The men’s room was not modern or glamorous but was clean enough and without tables too close.
Our Denver omlettes were well filled. The hash browns were plentiful and actually brown. Sausage gravy is creamy, meaty, and thick. English muffins are an option for toast. Our milk came out cold and with the food, as requested.
It’s more of a towny place, a little farther away from the downtown hype. We’ll definitely be back.

GAVE IT ANOTHER TRY ANNNDDDD… Good food not great, portions are okay. I paid 15$ for a meal yesterday, today for that same meal I paid almost 18$ The excuse was that prices had went up overnight apparently but also upon looking at it, I got charged a to go fee. I absolutely will not support a business that charges me a to go fee. I should not have to sit at your cafe to support it to avoid that small fee, when I have things to do. If you have to charge for every little thing in order to make it, just give up. Greed at its finest and the more we keep accepting this behavior the more people will lead with it. Nope

This is a great local breakfast spot. Where you can actually visit because it’s not so noisy and the tables are spread out nice and even. Many different choices everything from chicken fried steak and hamburger patty and eggs, avocado toast makes it really easy to accommodate whoever goes there with a delicious breakfast.

I hate to be critical of the local restaurants in town, but for me, Coperstate Cafe is just another “Me too” establishment. There is nothing particularly remarkable about the food, it’s just generic stuff you can get anywhere. It’s really too bad, there is so much opportunity to do something to stand out among the crowd, to serve something that broaches “gourmet.” It would be great if they offered quiche, crapes, Belgian Waffles, or maybe an Israeli breakfast, where you get to sample a variety of things. Maybe flights of fresh squeezed juices, or flights of coffee that comes from different parts of the world. So many fun and creative options. But instead, they serve the same stuff you can get at a dozen restaurants around town.

To be fair, there is nothing wrong with the food or the setting. If you’re a person who just eats for sustenance, you’ll be perfectly happy here. If you are a foodie looking for something above average, I’m afraid this is not the place for you.

First time here. Cute little restaurant with nice options for food. I am a huge pattymelt fan. I saw it on the menu, so I had to try it. The meat was very well done otherwise, ok. The onion rings had an off flavor different batter or old grease. They sold bulk coffee, which was a nice option. They do offer grab and go items for early morning food. I will definitely go again and try another option.

I had the spinach and mushroom omelette. It was great and I can’t wait to try other items. My husband had a Reuben and said it was wonderful.
