One of the BEST local restaurants in Ormond Beach. Authentic, delicious Cuban & Mexican cuisine. Colorful restaurant with genuinely caring staff. The food was fresh, hot and came out timely. I enjoyed a 1/2 Cuban sandwich combo with black beans & rice for only $10. I couldn’t eat it all. The food was so flavorful, authentic, and homemade. Highly recommend!

A lovely place, the service staff person was very polite and explained and recommended the daily specials. I had the Cuban sandwich (a very good sandwich and the portion is large). My wife had the mahi mahi dinner plate and couldn’t finish it because it was plentiful. They have high chairs and are friendly to kids. Sparkling clean place.

UPDATE: made it back in for lunch. Came in at 2pm ordered a Cuban sandwich
It took over 30 minutes to get it to go. SMH sorry but that’s ridiculous
Best cuban sandwich I’ve had in the Ormond/ Daytona area. Unreal flavor with the perfect balance. Get in there and try 1. Highly recommended

DD order. As an over the road truck driver I haven’t had authentic Spanish food and this place was delicious. The Chuletas De Puerco Cubano very well seasoned and plenty of onions. I haven’t had PR Masitas De Puerco con mofongo and wow, this mofongo from a Cuban place was delicious. Finally, the Cuban Rost Pork was my favorite of them all, very well seasoned and generous portions on all three plates. Will definitely order again when I am in this area. The bread was an added bonus.

This spot has good affordable Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban food and desserts. I am posting to ensure the public knows this location exists as it is hidden. Let’s show them some love, give them a try. I had the Puerto Rican chicharrón mofongo (no criolla sauce available), and alacapurrias (meat filled fritters). My husband had the churrasco (skirt steak) w/ rice and beans. All three dishes were delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating. You can do takeout, if you prefer.

Great little restaurant. The Cuban, Puerto Rican and Mexican food is all fantastic. The alcapurrias were so good. It reminded me of alcapurrias that we had in piñones PR. The Cuban sandwiches are served hot, which I love! I strongly recommend this place.

I’d give it a 3.5 and will go back to try more and update the review accordingly. Here is our first take:
Friendly staff, clean, large menu selection, good parking in back. Decent flavor and decent prices. Food was quick to the table and hot.
I dont believe they serve alcohol. Somebody else commented that they charge a fee for credit card use. I didn’t see a sign, nor was it mentioned. I wish they would better inform their customers about this if true.
The cuban sandwich was very large and was good but somewhat dry. It could have used more sauce/mustard or something.
Minor Note: They have Hunts rather than Heinz ketchup on the table. The taste is totally different with these two brands of ketchup, so I’m just noting for other ketchup lovers.
Go check them out and see for yourself as it is worth trying. I think they will get even better in time.

Nice ladies working at the counter where you place your order. The place is clean and nice but they do not serve alcohol so we took our food to go.
The traditional Cuban sandwich and TexMex style beef tacos were great. The pastor tacos just ok. We cannot wait to go back for breakfast and try their Huevos Rancheros.
Definitely our new “taco Tuesday” to go spot!!

Always a wonderful time coming here! The food is consistently delicious. The atmosphere is very peaceful, & the area it’s located in is very unique.
This time, we got the ropa vieja platter. It comes with rice, beans, plantians, & a tostada. The beef is slow cooked. And it soaked up the tomato, onion sauce. Which made it super flavorful! We also got the Tripleta sandwich. Which was also delicious & authentic. It could be split between two people with how big it was. Lastly, the Yucca cheese bites. It’s my favorite appetizer here, if you’ve never had it before. It tastes like an airy potato with gooey stretchy cheese inside. They give you this really yummy sauce to dip it in. I recommend asking for two sauce cups. It’ll go by fast.
