Café Con Leche opened its doors in 2001 on Milwaukee Avenue in the heart of Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. It’s become a popular restaurant for dinner, lunch, and breakfast in Logan Square. Since then, Café Con Leche has been serving both Mexican breakfast favorites and Latin dinner classics, paired with delectable desserts and coffees. Really great tasting food! The service was top notch where they help you immediately, and they brought out the food in a surprisingly good time (went there around lunch time). I got the café con leche which was huge and pretty strong for my taste (I prefer sweet coffees), and the breakfast chorizo burrito was just tasty.

Café Con Leche is amazing! As soon as we walked in we were greeted. The service was amazing. The waiter was very attentive, and the food came out within minutes of us ordering!

It’s a lovely place with delicious food. The mole sauce is the best I’ve ever had – you can actually taste the chocolate in the sauce. But it feels like a scam. They charged $100 in taxes and fees with 4 people. They charge a 4% convenience fee for using a credit card. Credit card companies only charge 1%, AND that’s literally the price of doing business. It’s like charging me for the hot water your dish washer uses. It ruined a really beautiful night.

This was our friend’s 1st time and we had not been back since before covid. All four of us had a great time. Food was fast, hot & delicious. Servers were on point, no errors with any of our orders and they made sure we were comfortable at all times. We ate inside and everything was very clean. Atmosphere was very inviting, cozy and relaxing. We’re all looking forward to returning soon
