What a find as we passed through this town. Very friendly staff and such a clean establishment!!! The pastries looked SO delicious but had to pass on them this time. The food was good too. The mortdella could’ve been toasted more. I think they put it in the microwave so it wasn’t crispy. Still delicious, though. The fries were cooked perfectly!!!!

After attending the 8:30 AM mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama, we decided to visit Café Cirino in South River to find some desserts for Thanksgiving. The café offered an impressive variety of choices, so we ended up buying one of each. Every item was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable.
The staff at Café Cirino were exceptionally nice and helpful. Most of them spoke Portuguese and Brazilian, but when they noticed we couldn’t speak their language, an English-speaking staff member promptly assisted us with our order. This thoughtful gesture made our experience even more pleasant.
Overall, we had a very good experience at Café Cirino. The combination of great desserts, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a place we would definitely recommend.

Don’t order from them on doordash or uber eats unless you’d like your smoothie delivered to you in a plastic bag and all over your food. Extremely careless.

I ordered an X-Tudo Burger, and it was just unbelievable! It’s a huge sandwich and tastes amazing — definitely one of the best burgers in New Jersey. I ordered it through Uber Eats, and the packaging was excellent. Congratulations to the team for doing such a great job for our community!

Friendly service.. A good selection of Portuguese bakery items. The bakery items were fresh and soft. The boston cream donut like thing minus the chocolate glaze was very good.. the custard was not too sweet. However, they don’t sell plain coffee! Only cappuccino and latte. Weird.

We were looking for Brasilian salgadinhos to snack on during the Copa 2024 Brasil game. We found a large assortment at Cafe Cirino.
It’s a small place, with tables. A surprisingly large menu, with lots of choices. Gabriela took our order, which was made on the spot and well packaged for the trip home.
Paid parking across the street.

Stupid good. I just learned about this place while searching for Kibis (Yucatan Mexico street food). Cirino’s kibi equivalents are good, but not quite the same as what we were looking for.
My wife and I enjoyed the Pork and onions, Quibe, and an empanada. The food was on point. Incredibly flavorful and delicious. But hold on, this is a bakery. First off the coffee is off the charts awesome. I would consider stopping here just for the coffee. The bakery items have to be illegal they are so good and rich. We had a dolce de leche donut which immediately put me into a sugar overdose and food coma. I will not be able to drive through South River without picking one up for me and my wife. I also got their chocolate cake; however, I was too full to taste. I am saving it for later. I am giddy like a school girl. Cafe Cirino I will be back soon.

Highly recommended the fabulous bakery treats made fresh daily, fresh squeezed juices and breakfast sandwiches. Also the young girl who works the front counter is very sweet and patiently described all the bakery items for me while including her own recommendations. Definitely will be going back again and again.
