Passed through Pleasanton on a whim on the way to San Antonio and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. Portions are fairly sizable for the price, and our server was attentive and very kind. Will definitely consider making the detour again next trip.

I love this place. I visit the area from South Carolina a couple of times a year and I always have to stop in for lunch. The food is delicious! I had the chicken fried steak with fries and a salad. WOAH! It was a huge piece of meat. It was delicious. A friend had the patty melt with gluten free bread and crispy fries and her mom has the crispy tacos. We also had a small cup of the cheese soup! 20/10!! Definitely stop in here for a meal!

This was our first visit. My hubby had cheeseburger with fries and said it was very good. I had a patty melt with a salad. The patty melt was good but I missed the grilled onions and Swiss cheese I grew up with. Also, there was no “sauce” on the melt which I missed. That being said, it was tasty and I ate every bite. The salad was fresh. If there’s anything I’d do differently with the salad I’d serve it in a bowl and not on a plate. The coconut cake for dessert was to die for! Our waitress was delightful. We will definitely go back.

Food is okay most times. Tonight was served lettuce with rot, not so good and rueben sandwich served cold. They need to put salads on a plate that won’t spill out everywhere, too.

Great food, great service. I ate the hamburger steak, and my friend ate the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was big! Both dinners were very good. The staff was very friendly. A must place to visit.

Super friendly staff! Seated very quickly. Came in for a late dinner and was very pleased with service and portion size. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and a side of fruit. The prices are very reasonable. My daughter ordered the half salad and was very pleased with the size of hers. Her friend ordered the 1/2 deli plate because she wasn’t too hungry and didn’t want bread. It was a great portion and perfect for someone who doesn’t want to eat carbs. Will definitely be coming again next time we are in town.
