I’ve been to Cafe Bonjour twice now, and while there is usually a 30+ minute wait, it is always worth it. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get!
The cafe is small and can get quite loud since the tables are close together and it’s always packed, but it’s a whole vibe. I love sitting at the coffee bar and watching the grill; there’s something so satisfying about seeing your food being cooked while you sip coffee and chat. The servers are incredibly quick and friendly despite how busy they are. I always recommend this spot to my friends and family!

I had brunch at Café Bonjour, and it was a total delight. The scrambled eggs, black tea, and croissant were prepared fresh right in front of me: great quality and plenty of it! The staff were on point, and even though it was busy, I didn’t wait at all. Definitely recommend for brunch or any meal!

Café Bonjour is an absolute gem in downtown Boston. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. Their breakfast and brunch options are outstanding—perfectly cooked eggs, flavorful bowls, fresh fruit, and pastries that taste like they came straight out of a Parisian bakery. The coffee is rich, smooth, and always brewed to perfection. Service is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, even when the café gets busy. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a slow morning, or grab something delicious on the go. Café Bonjour is easily one of the best cafés in the area, and it’s the spot I recommend to anyone looking for great food, great energy, and consistently great experience in the heart of the city.

Hole in the wall, food and service were excellent. Our waiter was very attentive.Definitely worth a try when in Boston. I ordered the keto omelet and the macchiato coffee and Nutella crepes. Sooo good!!! My friend got the steak and eggs. Everything was amazing 10/10!

Steak Tips & Eggs

I stopped into Café Bonjour and ordered the steak tips and eggs. The presentation was genuinely beautiful — the plate looked like it was going to be a standout meal. The steak itself was tender, but the flavor didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It had a slightly sweet taste that didn’t pair well with what I expected. The potatoes we are very tasty a standout for sure, and the bread was a bit dry and unflavored.

The restaurant was extremely crowded with limited seating, which made the atmosphere feel more like a quick in‑and‑out stop rather than a place to relax and enjoy breakfast. Overall, the meal was okay, but I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to try it again. Great presentation — I just wish the flavors matched the visuals.

My husband and I were in town for the weekend and I am so happy we came across Cafe Bonjour. There was a wait outside , it seems it’s only for big parties as we got seated within 10min of arriving. The food was so amazing, we returned the next morning for more. The scrambled eggs were cooked with caramelized onions and scallions, when I took a bite I immediately had a flash back to my Colombian grandmas eggs and how she used to make them for me when I was little. So yummy. Their service is super efficient , we were in and out within 1 hr or less. If you’re looking for a tasty and cozy breakfast place, we def recommend this cafe. 10/10

The line outside the door tells you just how good the food is! However, to accommodate the eager patrons adorining the waiting list, seating is literally anywhere they could make it…bathroom hallway, seating on ‘the line’ as the food is being prepared. It’s very cramped! But the staff is friendly. We ordered the Nutella French Toast, Traditional Crepes, and Croque Madame. We left with clean plates! Delicious food! On a side note, if the fresh squeezed orange juice was fresh, I’m not sure where it was being squeezed…not enough to justify it’s $5.99 price tag.

This cafe lives up to its name. Cafe Bonjour is so warm and welcoming. There was a long wait but it was so worth it. I love that everyone here has a sense of urgency. From the host to the servers to the kitchen, the service was expeditious not to mention super friendly. The restaurant is in a small space. The tables are very small as well which makes it very quaint. Once we ordered, the food arrived very quickly and the presentation was fabulous.

The matcha latte didn’t have much sweetener but was still great. The signature blueberry bowl was so fresh and delicious. It had the perfect toppings and wasn’t too sweet. The signature scramble sandwich was a generous portion and was savory and mouth watering. The Eggs Benedict was also rich in flavor. We cleaned our plates and bowls. Literally not an ounce of food was left.

I would not hesitate to come back here again on my next trip to Boston. Highly highly recommend!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding — A Must-Visit Brunch Spot!

Bonjour Cafe Brunch is, without a doubt, one of those rare places that makes you fall in love with brunch all over again. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles, a cozy European-inspired ambiance, and the inviting aroma of fresh pastries and rich coffee.

Every dish is beautifully plated and full of flavor — you can truly taste the care and creativity behind each recipe. The croissant sandwiches are buttery and perfectly flaky, the omelets are light and delicious, and the signature pancakes are simply unforgettable. Even the coffee feels elevated, smooth, and exactly what you want on a slow morning.

Service here is exceptional. The staff is attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, and always happy to recommend favorites. Despite how popular this place is, the atmosphere never feels rushed — just relaxed, welcoming, and full of charm.

Whether you’re meeting friends, taking someone special out, or treating yourself to a quiet moment, Bonjour Cafe Brunch delivers a five-star experience every single time. Do yourself a favor and go — your taste buds will thank you! Best in Boston

The food was decent and the portions were generous for the most part (I wish the French toast portion was a little larger). It says Nutella stuffed French toast but it was actually false advertisement. There was Nutella in the middle of the two slices of bread. It was a bit of a disappointment as I literally expected it to be stuffed. The eggs were fresh and so was everything else on the place. I would have liked the Capuccino glasses to have been a little larger however it tasted good. We went out of our way to visit this brunch place but it wasn’t anything special (like a must try if you’re in Boston). I guess what I’m trying to say is that if there’s a brunch spot near where you stay or where you are at the moment you feel like eating, don’t go out of your way to eat here. The waiters were very friendly and on top of things.
