Been going here for 15 years. The owner can accommodate celiac/gluten free and the food is 10/10 always. Mulligatawny soup is my fave

Take out only, but still was warm when I fi ally made it home 25 minutes later. You should order ahead. They were friendly and answered my questions about menu items. Ill again and get a little more spicy.

The atmosphere is nice and a great location, but there are better Indian restaurants within 10 minutes. We shared the veggie appetizer platter and everything on it was batter dipped and fried except the one tiny falafal-like item. Surprisingly the platter did not have either the samosas or pakora. Service was slow with one waiter for 20 patrons on a weekend night. The food was ok, they respected dietary needs and we took home leftovers, but not amazing as we expected from other reviews. We each ordered entrees at medium spice, but were ultimately underwhelmed.

This was my first visit to Cafe Bombay and I was not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious! Ordering and pickup was very easy too. My husband and I wil be adding this to our weekly dinner mix for sure! Dont forget to get the chia ice cream to end the meal. You won’t be disappointed!

I have no idea where these five-star reviews came from. Did they change owners? My boyfriend and I ordered two lunch boxes today.
I went there because there was a bogo lunch or dinner entree coupon from the Entertainment book I purchased this week. Max value $6….
They refused to honor it even though they received the benefit of the advertising.
I just ordered anyway.
And paid $38 for the privilege of us having nausea/vomiting/painful stomach cramps and diarrhea for hours in the bathroom.
I’ll be lodging a complaint with the department of health in the morning.
They closed the dining room and are take out only…. I wonder if it’s because they don’t want to deal with people getting sick and refusing to pay if they are inside…

I ordered goat curry and it was relatively good. Of all the Indian restaurants I’ve eaten, this ranks number 3. I think the 1-10 spice level is unnecessary, though. There should be 3 levels of spice; mild, hot, and Indian hot. I definitely feel that my meal was missing some traditional flavors to meet my 5/10 flavor request. Everything else was great about the meal. Also, the goat curry is not boneless (it never is). Chew carefully

We just recently tried Cafe Bombay for the first time and it’s quickly becoming a staple for us. The food is always delicious and so affordable compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. They cater the spice level exactly to your liking and they’ve never disappointed once! Highly recommend the Malabar fish curry!

Our first try, everything was so good. Chicken tikka, tikka masala, butter chicken, bread basket , samosas. If you’ve never tried chutney, try the mango chutney with the less saucy dishes. Truly amazing.
