We always have the best time at this restaurant, the food is amazing and the service is always top much. Their pre fix menu is hard to beat and when they have the Lobster, it’s a must try! Highly recommend this dining experience!

Fantastic restaurant that my wife took me to for our anniversary. I love the $2 cork fee where we can bring our own wine. My peppercorn sauce filet was outstanding!

We took advantage of the Dine LA Pre Fixe menu.3 courses for a reasonable price.

We had 6:00pm reservations for 4 and checked in 5 minutes early. We were told it would be a reasonable 10-minute way that turned into 45 minutes. Oh well, it was a busy Saturday night in Agoura Hills..

First, the baguette slices and butter were delicious. For the first course, we ordered the following: French Onion soup, it was ok but not great, soup of the day mushroom and potato, very good, cesar salad, and a berry fig salad, this was by far the best first course, the dressing was tasty. Second course was: pork tenderloin, sliced with a creamy rosemary sauce, it was cooked nicely but nothing special, the meat trio was good, the filet (sliced) and shot rib were cooked well and seasoned nicely and the lamb chops were tasty with a jam sauce, the beef bourguignon tasted like an average pot roast, the salmon however was a hit at the table, it had a very tasty spice rub that was slightly sweet and slightly spicy but did not overpower the salmon. Desert was about the same quality, the housemate hot fudge was a major disappointment because it did not have a chocolate flavor and was more sauce than fudge, the flourless cake with raspberry sauce was good, the bread pudding with carmel sauce was saved by the sauce, the tiramisu missed the coffee flavor and creaminess that an Italian restaurant would have.

Once seated, the service was good, but the server was trying to keep up with the multiple tables.

The room was LOUD and had to hear our tablematesunless they were looking directly at youbourguignon used our phone flashlight to see the menu.

Thank you for participating in Dine LA, but there are too many other great options for your regular pricing.

Amazing food and service!
The Roasted Monkfish (Friday Special) was perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful risotto—elegant and delicious. Generous portions, great prices, and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Usually always a wait even with reservations but one four go to spots for a date night.

Aside from that, everything else was really good. Everything we ate was fantastic and was a fairly reasonable price. They serve bread and butter which was fresh and warm. I did the 3 course deal for $35. I started with the French onion soup which was very flavorful but not too salty. Then I enjoyed the penne pasta with a lemon sauce tossed with chicken, sun dried tomatoes and asparagus. Very delicious!! My fiance got the featured meal which was skirt steak and potatoes. He ate the whole thing so that tells me he thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the bread pudding to and the night and it came in a light caramel sauce that was to die for. My fiance even ate some and he’s not a huge dessert guy. Overall this place was really good and had we not had to wait 45 min I would have given them 5 starts. We will definitely be back !

Update: ate here a second time and came a little earlier so we were seated quicker. We got the beef beef bourgenon and the steak and it was delicious.

Update- ate here again and tried the flourless chocolate cake and the shrimp and lobster risotto. The risotto is lighter than most and the lobster in it was delicious!!! The cake was good- a dark chocolate and very light.

I really wanted to give CB a 5/5 but the evening there was marred by a long wait time for a reserved table and the constant barreling of wait staff as they barged past me to get through the tiny bar area to the kitchen. The place is badly designed and I think everyone would have a problem if they booked a table for a certain time and it took 45 mins for the maitre’d to seat you. Once you’re seated, the service is exceptional and the food is great, but that prelude to your meal as you have to keep reminding staff that you’re there, waiting, makes for a poor start to the evening. I’m so glad CB is doing so well, but unfortunately at the expense of good customers.

I’ve been to a lot of great French restaurants in France, throughout the US, and Canada. I had there course meal. The French onion soup was mediocre at best and the artichoke appetizer was average. The beef dish was great. So was the dessert. Overall I think this is a great French restaurant for the value. $45 for a 3 course meal is a great deal. I spent about $150 for three people. But if you want the best French food go to SF, Quebec, or France. This restaurant doesn’t measure up to other restaurants I went to in those areas.

Boy, was this a treat. My wife and I are here a couple years ago and it was so good we decided if we were ever in town again we’d make a point of stopping. The second visit did not disappoint. The food was excellent as was the service. The place was packed and white noisy, hence the slightly lower rating on atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable especially given the quality of the meals and the presentation. We’ll be back for a third visit.

Amazing! First time here! Celebrated our anniversary! As busy as it was, we were seated timely. The host ensured he was aware by communicating w us regularly! All service was on point. Escargot, sweetbread, beef bourginon and sand dabs excellent! Prices so reasonable. Bread pudding and lobster bisque, wow! Even my house salad was crisp, fresh, and excellent. I highly recommmend! My new favorite place!

4th and last DineLA spring excursion

Drove up to my home turf to visit friends for the weekend.
My friend has been raving about this place and this whole time I had no clue about it.

Our party of 5 did the DineLA dinner.
This time around it was every man for himself so we all got what we wanted and didn’t share.
We started off with an order of the escargot because as it turns out 2/5 of the people in our party had never tried it before. It was perfectly seasoned.
I kicked off with the lobster and salmon ravioli then followed that up with the meat trio which came with lamb chop, filet mignon and braised short ribs and ended with the bread pudding.
When I tell you – I ate everything. The ravioli was so tasty. The lamb chop was perfectly cooked and the bread pudding was so sumptuous. The portions were nice considering the price.

The vibe was super nice. It was a packed Friday night. So glad we had a reservation.
I didn’t catch the name of our server, but he was awesome.
My starter was the
