It’s a beautiful cozy spot (with outdoor seating) to wind down for the afternoon!
Staff are welcoming, friendly, and chatty.
Free limited parking available by the adjacent lot (although I visited in the evening, during quiet hours)
Keep in mind: during busy hours, it might be hard to find indoor seating!
Fish was next level, and beef was super tender
Pretty big beer selection for a “cafe”
Deserts are also done with care, not your usual sugar punch, very tasty!
We stayed in the dome which had a Christmas tree inside and the atmosphere was pretty amazing!
Was there for brunch. The potatoes were slightly undercooked (but better than being way over cooked), and adding tomatoes to them made them acidic, without anything to balance the acid flavour out (even some salt would be good, but there was no salt on the table). The salmon eggs benny was pretty balanced, but a tiny bit on the salty side. Also, we only got ketchup for dip for our potatoes. For the price point ($23) I would like to see a speciality dip like a Parmesan, mustard, or dill based dip for the potatoes.
Also, our table was a bit dirty when we got there.
Coffee was ok, but not terrible. And service was adequate.
We also loved the Salades d’Été—a refreshing mix of mango, avocado, and baby greens. It was light, vibrant, and something I’d definitely order again.
The Poulet Croustillant was also quite good, but we were so full by that point we had to pack it to go.
For coffee, I tried the café affogato with salted caramel ice cream, and it absolutely hit the spot. The combination was rich and satisfying.
The staff were very friendly, the service was great, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We truly enjoyed our brunch meeting and look forward to coming back.
If you’re looking for a café with great food, a welcoming ambiance, and a touch of European charm, Café Bicyclette is a must visit. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
