Found this little gem when my wife and I were in town visiting. She loves matcha and I love coffee. Amazing experience, be sure to try the Ethiopian honey bread.

We attended a coffee ceremony here and loved it so much that we brought the whole family for lunch the next day. The food is amazing, the owners are wonderful people and you will not find a better cup of coffee anywhere in the world!! I highly recommend checking this place out – both for food and for a coffee ceremony. It was such a beautiful and special experience.

Cafe Bereka is a cozy, comfortable coffee place in Portage Lakes. The coffee is delicious. So far, I have tried the vanilla and lavender flavors. The muffins are huge and out of this world yummy! Nardos, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. Josh, one of the baristas, remembered me by name when I stopped by last week. I have not tried any of the food options yet, but it looks delicious. I’d highly recommend Cafe Bereka!

Came here for the first time with my bf this morning, we both got the iced Organix Cappuccino and a blueberry muffin and both were soooo good! The atmosphere is bright and refreshing, and Nardos was also super sweet to talk to. Highly recommend stopping in 🙂

This is a lovely coffee shop in the Portage Lakes area. The interior is warm, inviting and unique. I had a black coffee. It was very smooth with no bitter aftertaste. My husband had a salted caramel macchiato it was good. It had a very unique favor that was surprising. He said it would have been better if the sweetness was cut in half. They have GF, DF cookies that were fresh and delicious. They also have regular cookies and muffins. They have a big variety of teas and other beverages. The food looking amazing!

Absolutely love Cafe Bereka! Their coffee is excellent and their lattes are fun and unique. I love that they offer great non-coffee drinks as well. My children always want a mango smoothie when we visit. The employees are always welcoming and knowledgeable and the owners are the sweetest family. The traditional Ethiopian food is to die for and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed learning about Ethiopian culture and coffee ceremonies at their special events. It’s also a perfect spot for meetings and small gatherings. We hung out for 2 hours chatting with friends while our kids played puzzles and read books. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a gem!

My mom and I love to visit New local businesses in the area. We decided to stop in for a morning coffee and it was amazing. We both had the lavender coffee hot and omg it was so flavorful. The gentleman that worked behind the counter was very nice too. We will definitely be back to try other flavors.

We came in with a big group for a bachelorette party and found this coffee shop. The coffee is amazing and the service is even better! Everything is organic and made with oat milk.

This was my first time here. Ordered the chai tea. It was made from scratch, not a concentrate. It had a wonderful Arona and tasted great. Wonderful service. The space was clean and bright and welcoming. I will be going back for the food.

Found them with the Akron/Summit County Drip Drive. Perfect little café on Main St, out of the way but easy to get to!
I got the Organix Coffee with no additions and it was delightfully flavorful, with a hint of spices on the profile.
Definitely go and try them out, the profiles and smells at the café are delicious. I will definitely be visiting again even for the just the atmosphere and service!
