This place is a MUST STOP for coffee lovers! I go to coffee shops everywhere I travel and hands down this one had some of the best coffee ever! I had a seasonal drink that was absolutely delicious! The staff was kind and friendly! When we travel is way again we will for sure stop back in!

Best breakfast burrito I’ve had in CO so far. Tastes fresh and healthy! We regretted not buying some to take home.

Coffee is great too! Barista has perfected the drip coffee and my iced vanilla latte was great as well.

It took about 10 minutes to get our order which was well worth it, and there was comfy seating with lots of climbing books to check out. Very impressed overall.

I came here because the reviews are all so good. I love good coffee. But I’ve never spent so much money for coffee that has so little taste or even caffeine in it. It’s like I was drinking just hot water. I ended up dumping it out and went to Starbucks (which really sucks because I much prefer small coffee shops, but this was such a disappointment).

Specialty coffee in a place of this size is pretty unheard of. Props to the baristas / owner for caring about coffee. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for expanding and future coffee offerings.

The Black Bear iced latte at Café Belay is out of this world! Blackberry and honey blend with their rich, in-house roasted espresso for a flavor that’s smooth, refreshing, and completely unique. I ordered mine with oat milk (they offer a variety of plant milks and dairy options), and it was perfectly balanced and creamy.

Beyond the coffee itself, the barista experience makes this place even more special. Every time I come in, they’re incredibly personable, welcoming, and clearly skilled at their craft. You can feel the care and expertise that goes into every drink.

Café Belay isn’t just the best coffee shop in Cañon City — it sets a whole new bar for what great coffee (and great service) should be. If you haven’t tried the Black Bear yet, you’re missing out!

Kind, cozy, and delicious food and coffee—what more could you want?! This place is my new favorite in Canon City! The staff was so wonderful, their breakfast burritos are delicious and packed with nutrition, and the coffee was perfect. I cannot wait to come back!

Cafe Belay is one of my favorite coffee shops in Colorado. My girlfriend and I make sure to stop everytime we are in Canon City. The owner, Spencer, puts in a lot of effort to make great coffee. They have creative specials and no bad options when ordering here.

Excellent coffee. I had the cortado and it was served in a small glass which is very traditional in Europe. My husband had the latte and a pastry. Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly. Coffee shop had a great atmosphere and it was very cozy. A lot cool climbing gear too. Very cool spot.

Loved this place! Coffee is great and they use some of Fellow equipment. Everything is made there, including the banana bread of course their breakfast burrito, a staple for every climber, was DELICIOUS and filled me right up for lunch! I got a cappuccino with oat milk and they did a great job! The consistency of the drink was great! My grandparents got the Greek coffee, it’s like a frappe but like 10x better- not supper sweet and it so smooth!
My barista was nice
Definitely stop by and give them some love!

Only small complaint is that it didn’t seem like they had a whole lot of air conditioning but maybe that’s because they roast their coffee there too ‍♀️:)
