What a magnificent meal.
Lovely thick white fish beautifully crumbed.
Best cooked crumbed fish I have ever seen.
Pizza was so tasty and added just the right amount of chilli.
Pricing is excellent.

when I came in, I sat on a table and the guy called me to come to the cashier to get my menu. In addition I ordered a seafood platter and the calamari was raw really raw meaning it’s not chewable not eatable however, I enjoyed the prawns and the chips the waitress was very nice. However, I would not recommend it.

We booked a table of 9 for Sunday lunch and had a great time. Ages 89 through 25. Excellent drink choices. I didn’t get to try their wines, but what I saw looked like a quality selection with a local focus. The ladies that served us were great, friendly and efficient and informative. Food came out in good time and was delicious. I had the salmon, others had lamb and seafood. The pasta was apparently excellent.
Of note was the iced coffee, with a delicious double? shot of fresh coffee. My coffee snob wife even had a second one!
We really appreciated being able to talk at normal vocal level, no intrusively loud music.

My family and I have been going to Cafe Beach Pit for 20 years! It is our go-to spot on bustling Jetty Road because it has a great menu (tons of family favourites to keep everyone happy), the service is friendly and on point (thanks to the lovely Maria who trains her staff beautifully), and has a warm, relaxed, and welcoming vibe. We love sitting outside with our dog (even in Winter) and the pizzas are the best I’ve had in Adelaide! Generous serves and generous in spirit. If you’re looking for somewhere relaxed, fun, and a full tummy when you leave – Cafe Beach Pit is the place!

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Very helpful with kids. Lovely colouring book, pencils and crayons to amuse the kids. Catered easily for a dairy allergy.
The breakfast deluxe was delicious, tasty and healthy.
The fish and chips delicious! Kids portion well sized and presented.
All in all, delightful experience! Highly recommended.

My wife and I eat at the Beach Pit almost every Sunday evening and have done so for years. It’s a family-owned restaurant, with Mary running front of house and Adam in the kitchen, and it shows in every detail. The service is consistently exceptional and the food is always outstanding. The Seafood Duo is a favourite of ours: calamari and prawns served with chips, done perfectly every time. The menu is extensive and the pizzas are a real highlight. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, enjoyed by singles and families of all ages, including people celebrating special occasions. In an era of cookie-cutter cafés and fast food, the Beach Pit is a genuine gem in Brighton.

We tried here, during the busy holiday period and got a nice table straight away. It did fill up quickly though.
The service was really good, friendly and efficient. We only had a light brunch, and we liked it.
My only little suggestions would be to perhaps have fresh OJ rather than poured from mass produced 2L bottles, especially for the price.
The coffee was lovely, but a 20 minute wait was probably a bit too long.
We would certainly return though.

We ended up at this place by accident when nabbing a park right outside on a cold, rainy winters morning. It looks cosy indoors so we checked out the menu and decided to stay. It was indeed warm and cozy, but my God, the food was AMAZING! I think we have found a new favourite. Staff were friendly and accommodating and happy to explain. Prices were very good for breakfast, and had some nice different offerings. Food service was quick, everything fresh, delicious toast, and the veggie breakfast with haloumi was sensational. Coffee was good, and my English breakfast tea pot was excellent. Only one star taken off as it was too dark inside, I couldn’t read the menu without glasses, and on a dreary day it just would have been nice if the light was a bit brighter. A small thing!
I can’t wait to visit again. It’s not fancy, but great rustic tasty food. Yes Chef

Ditch your towel. The only pit stop you need at Brighton is the Cafe Beach Pit
Normally I’d take the food photo, but I forgot
However the attached photo clearly displays their Mezze Plate $35 was on song
Stopped in on a Tuesday Lunch, cold outside but wonderfully warm inside. Waitress was lovely and other customers close by mentioned how good their pizza and service was. You can also take your leftovers home!
