You know what they say, the early bird gets the duck —no seriously, the duck here is so dang good that you should call early to get yourself an order because they sell out almost as quickly as Lucifer was cast down from heaven. Lightning. The duck is Hong Kong style roast duck —the ONLY way to truly enjoy the rich umami of duck to its fullest potential. It is succulent, juicy, tender, a carnival of flavor, and is an absolute blessing. I’m not a gatekeeper. Get it. I’ll race you for it.
Their banh mi is also excellent. I love a good banh mi, and their banh mi is packed with goodness. The traditional combination banh mi is my favorite kind, and they NAIL it here. The bread has that coveted light crisp exterior with a soft chewey inside. Their use of sauce is generous and 100% appropriate.
The employees are very kind and welcoming, and the prices are too good for this economy. That’s probably why the bbq meat sells out so fast. RUN. GO NOW

Posting this a month later because I said I would give them a review when I picked up my order-an order I put in 40 mins before they closed. An order – where I didn’t know what to get being a first timer, so the man on the phone helped me. An order-I can’t wait to get again! The pork Bahn Mi was so good & the rice was amazing! Great service! We will be back!

Interest and delicious combinations Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese. Everything tasted very good. Fast and friendly service, too. The Chinese BBQ tastes and looks like something you would get in Chinatown.

While traveling in the Boston area we found Cafe Bayon. First off the staff was absolutely amazing. So friendly and kind. They definitely welcomed us. Their Bahn Mei had to be one of the best I’ve ever had. The pork was cooked perfect and the veggies and bread were super fresh. We also got a meat platter to go. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you are given. I will definitely being taking the 1hr 45min ride back to Lynn just for their food.

Me and my bf both agreed that this is the best banh mi we have ever had, by far. For a reasonable price the portion and quality is unreal. Bread is somehow impossibly crispy and soft at the same time. Sugarcane juice was a rare treat as well. Service was impeccable. So good. Please give this cafe your business!

Yum!!! I’ve passed by this place at least a hundred times. I happened to notice a great looking meal on Facebook and the poster tagged this restaurant. I thought to myself that the name sounded familiar. The next day I was at my listing in Lynn so I looked up the restaurant and low and behold, it was 4 minutes away. Totally meant to me.
I enjoyed every little bit of this meal. It was absolutely delicious. I had the duck and pork and I literally ate most of it in my car before I could even drive off to go home. Seriously good.

I have been craving a banh mi sandwich and this was the closest spot to me. I got a roast pork (spicy) sandwich and an iced coffee (love the strong stuff). So good!

You know it’s a hit when you have locals show up of a certain generation, approved! This place is by far the best with service by staff and food. Always so fast ( prepped and cooked) and definitely fair prices. I do dine in mostly but when I pick up, I’m in and out quickly. Atmosphere is enough.
