Hummus, kebabs & other staples make up the mostly Turkish menu at this cozy spot with patio seating.

Consistently good food and service here. Ali always takes good care of my crew and me. With a great menu, wine list, and full bar, it’s good for everyone. Great vegetarian options as well. My personal favorite is the iskender/alexander kabob entree.
Atmosphere is cozy and homey. I look forward to coming back time and again.

The best Turkish food in North America and some of THE BEST food I’ve ever had, don’t say that lightly at all! Excellent service to match the lip smacking food. A unique Turkish liquor they serve ultra chilled is a refreshing drink to try as well. The food you can’t go wrong with anything. A super tasty herbed tomato chilli oil they serve with amazing free bread at the table should be bottled and sold

I ordered Beef Kebab well done, all 4 peaces of meet were juicy and soft and tender, but two were cooked perfectly and two others were extremely red inside, so I sent them back to the kitchen to cook for a bit more. Service is not attentive.
Dear kitchen staff, more consistent meet works be appreciated. Still gone them 5 stars.
I will come again to try lamb shank, it looked awesome.

I really like this place. It’s a funky, very narrow & long, easy to miss hole in the wall kind of place with really good food. We had the babaganoush, lamb moussaka and chicken, all delicious. The moussaka was loaded with meat, the chicken was tender – just a nice experience. Waiter was friendly, helpful and attentive. Recommended.

Excellent food and service. Was surprised to find a fried anchovies dish, which I guess is a seasonal thing, and was great too. Did an assortment of appetizers and all were flavorful and well prepared. A kepper!

I really enjoyed this place!! The number one thing that stuck out to me was the customer service. From the beginning, the staff were so nice and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and were very prompt in their service.
The food was also incredibly tasty. I got the lamb moussaka and would definitely recommend it. I love that the food was fresh and had lots of flavor.

This place was excellent. I am not sure why I had never tried this place before (most likely because of the cost) but otherwise I’m sure I’ll go there multiple times now.
The decor was great for a cold December night. We ordered some items not on the menu (grilled sea bass) and most items recommended by the staff (lamb chops) and everything was delicious and enjoyable. The sweet dishes were great as well.
Along with the food, the service was great. The staff were really helpful and were quite quick. Price was a bit much but quantity was satisfying.
I’d recommend for others to give this a shot if they like Mediterranean cuisine.

Cafe Baklava in Mountain View is a cozy Mediterranean spot with flavorful dishes and fresh ingredients. The sampler mezze, veggie kabob, and chicken guvec were all delicious, and the warm pita stood out. Friendly staff made the experience even better.

Going with five stars because of the chicken kebab, it was like an explosion of so many flavors inside the mouth. Those who love kebab definitely try this restaurant. We tried pied equally well. The ambience is cozy and the staff were really good at their job. The place has friendly vibes, clean and neat.

We went there on a Friday night, and found the place relatively empty. Weirdly enough, because the food was so good. Everything from the bread (Yufka?) all the way to octopus and everything in between. The specials (off the menu items) are definitely worth the try. Mutton chops were top tier. Finally, the chocolate souffle is something to die for.
Top that with a friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, makes it a great place. Definitely recommend.
