This place was crowded at 6pm on a Tuesday. Food was good with good portions for the price. Chicken marsala tasted too much like a generic brown sauce for my liking, but still flavorful. All the other dishes we go were spot on. Wait staff is very friendly but not readily available. However, our waiter was easy enough to flag down.

Cafe baci has been serving customers for over 30 years. My experience here was near perfect, and i could see why they have been in business for so long. I ordered the spaghetti with vodka sauce lunch special for 15$, and my father ordered the chicken parmigiana with rigatoni lunch special for 18$. As soon as you sit down to a table you are given a menu and complimentary pizza (which is unlimited and you could keep asking for baskets). Service was excellent as well. Our waitress was very vigilant and made sure everything was good throughout the lunch service. I never had an empty glass of water as it consistently got filled almost immediately as i reached halfway at the glass. Overall this is a very good Italian restaurant and i will be coming back soon to try more Italian classics.

I have been to Cafe Baci a few times now and I have to say every time, I have enjoyed my experience. My absolute favorite is the tartufo dessert. But everything is delicious on the menu. I tried the Chocolate Martini and it was so good. The calamari was just right as well. Keep in mind that this restaurant gets pretty busy but luckily I was able to get seated right away which was great. Overall lovely experience once again.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Long Island. The portions are very huge and it will definitely make you full afterwards. They give free complimentary bread that taste just like pizza. You must try the tortellini and the penne alla vodka!

I’ve always driven by and wondered what it looked like inside and I finally made the decision to go in and try. To my surprise I was extremely pleased!The ambiance was nice and my server was good but the food even better. Also ,the pizza bread is sooooo delicious!

Came in for lunch and their lunch menu was Not available this particular day. The bread basket was deliciously soft and had the texture of a garlic knot. I probably had too many and spoiled my appetite from how good they were! We shared the calamari which wasn’t anything special but a heaping portion of them. Then we had the rigatoni bolognese which was creamy, flavorful, and big serving enough to take home! Finally we ended it with a tiramisu which was like 2hx4lx4w aka huge! I don’t usually like tiramisu but it was really yummy but still somewhat defrosting.

Beautiful place, ambient is nice. Service was good, not great. Server wasn’t as attentive but still decent. We took longer to decide and order and I think our server was getting annoyed, I looked over at him and he was talking to the hostess and they were both looking directly at me. We came here to celebrate a birthday, this place was recommended by a acquaintance from school. I ordered the chicken Paesano like he recommended, the sauce is saltier than necessary, I’d rate it 3/5. The chicken is yummy and tender, the string beans were so thin, you could probably find better quality string beans at the supermarket, the dish also had potato & Italian sausage. My family ordered the fried calamari, lasagna, the lobster ravioli & the tortellini with vodka sauce. The fried calamari was pretty good, perfectly salted too. The Lasagna and ravioli were good, but the tortellini with vodka sauce was the best dish of the 4. Their pizza bread is heavenly, it’s really soft, warm & flavorful! I was able to get a separate young waiter to secretly bring out a birthday surprise, he was very nice & subtle about it which I very much appreciated :). They also have a decent parking lot for the restaurant which is a plus!
