What a unique restaurant! We heard about the food and experience, so we wanted to check it out.

We really enjoyed the opportunity to walk around the museum and see some of the art – definitely worth a visit!

The food was good as well, but the experience is where this place really shines.

We started with the smoked Salmon, which was a good quality of smoked salmon with some great pairings.

The short rib we thought was good as well, but the real standout was the fish which was very well prepared and seasoned. The crispy skin was outstanding.

Friendly service and a charming atmosphere, with a variety of dishes—including a good Philly cheesesteak and healthy homemade coleslaw. The museum and art gallery of Victor Stabin tucked inside the restaurant adds a nice touch, making the wait for your food feel like part of the experience.

The brie and the salmon were delicious. The cocktail wasn’t bad. I got a basil martini and my girl got a pear-something. We really enjoyed them! The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Our server was a young man and he was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it and will definitely be back when we visit Jim Thorpe again.

This place was pointed out as one with underground water ducts that can be seen while dining. So we decided to swing by for a quick drink.
Place shares an entrance with a small art museum – museum to the left – bar to the right.
Yes, we were there on the busiest day of the year and clearly staff was overwhelmed, although i wouldn’t say that they were packed! They tried – but clearly the frustrations showed. Still – that should not reflect on the quality of the drinks or prices! First were terrible – cheapest alcohols used and second were expensive.

You can sit inside and outside. I would assume during a regular day – parking would be easy to find but on the day we visited we were lucky to park for 25$ within 10 min walk of them.

We didnt dine in and i wont speculate on the quality of the food. But based on experience – next time i am in Jim Thorpe – will eat elsewhere.

Ps – the underground tunnel can be viewed but it is in the corner and typically to see it – you would need to disturb people at tables near by

Our waiter was great. Food was good .. they ran out of the Strawberry spinach salad but I got a replacement.. place was quite wen we arrived started to get packed alil before 5 pm , I guess they dont cook 4 til 5? But the decor was inviting and the smiles accommodated the atmosphere and they all were very easy goin with my 2 year old spoiled grand child who absolutely loved the glass enclosure that allows everyone to view the natural water way that runs under the many different shops .

We stumbled upon this cafe/art space initially because of its name (fellow Arielle here!), and what a serendipitous find it turned out to be. Tucked further up Broadway past the prison, this spot is a true hidden gem in the area.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with cozy vibes, delicious drinks, and an inspiring collection of artwork. The space is beautifully curated, blending creativity and comfort in the best way. One of the owners took the time to chat with us and shared a bit of the space’s history, which made the experience even more special.

Whether you’re in the mood for a tasty libation, a bite to eat, or just want to soak in some local art, this place delivers. Highly recommend stopping in—you might just leave feeling a little more inspired than when you arrived.

We loved the Museum and the Cafe. We had the River bar table where the river runs right underneath! Very cool! Friendly staff, Steve, Skylar and Arielle. Chef John came out and said hello. Complimented the food. Excellent! Museum connected to cafe! Amazing! More people should definitely look up this place in Jim Thorpe PA. Very Unique!! Nice town…was hopping! Bob and Deb from Long Island NY. My apologies was Justin not Steve. Steve was the nice neighbor we met.

We stumbled in this gem by complete accident and are thrilled that we did. Located outside of the normal Jim Thorpe craziness, it’s really a one of a kind experience. The refurbished wire mill alone is impressive, but the quirky atmosphere and friendly staff are what really make this place special.

And the food! Absolutely amazing and the presentation was terrific.

Pro tip 1: Visit the adjacent Stabin Museum (free) for an enjoyable artistic adventure. In the evenings this space converts to a lounge to enjoy cocktails and conversation.

Pro tip 2: Request the table over the indoor stream (!) if available.

I’m a big fan of small local venues hosting live music events! My wife and I enjoyed a 90s grunge acoustic night there and were impressed with the venue. It definitely gave off the MTV’s Unplugged/ VH1 Storytellers vibe! Very cool! Cost for food and drinks we’re a bit high for a small venue and the servers had difficulty accessing the back tables of the house, but there was a decent selection of drinks and food offered. The sound was good but seemed to be provided by the band. With the high ceilings, I would think the venue would have a sound system they could tap into and that way the music can be broadcast through the 3 individual spaces/rooms of the venue. But it was a good experience and I’d go there again!

What a unique experience!! An art gallery, restaurant and bar in a historic factory. The food is fresh and delicious. The décor is the perfect blend of a rustic building frame with modern interior design. The big surprise is the glass box that allows you to see the aqueduct flowing below the building! All designed by the artist Victor Stabin who gave us a personal tour of the museum and showed us his animation film which is not to be missed. You will not be disappointed!
