I had a nice time with my family here. They all seemed to enjoy their meal. Maybe I’m just a novice but I did end up with a stick in my mouth while eating my spaghetti. Definitely threw me off a bit! Our waitress was very nice too. The restaurant was very nicely themed too.

Here is a 5-star review for Cafe Amore that strikes the balance between high praise and “Italian grandmother” energy.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | “I think I’m legally married to a lasagna now.”
I walked into Cafe Amore a skeptic and walked out a changed person. I’m pretty sure the chef is actually just three Italian grandmothers standing on each other’s shoulders under a trench coat, because that food tasted like a warm hug and a lifelong secret.

* The Bread: I usually have self-control, but their garlic knots are a spiritual experience. I would use them as a pillow if they weren’t so delicious.

* The Pasta: I ordered the Carbonara, and it was so authentic I suddenly started gesturing with my hands and developed a strong opinion about local soccer leagues.

* The Vibe: The atmosphere is so romantic that I accidentally fell in love with my own reflection in the wine glass.

A Fair Warning:
Do not come here if you are on a “no-carb” diet. The ghosts of Italian ancestors will literally boo you out of the building.
If you want to feel like you’re part of a family that actually likes each other, go to Cafe Amore. My heart is full, my jeans are tight, and I regret absolutely nothing. 10/10.

We have come to this restaurant for years and love it. Great family place, great food and family friendly. We ordered the mussels from their menu that clearly states “WHITE wine, garlic and herb sauce.” When it arrived it’s drenched in a red sauce, which was clearly NOT listed on the menu. I’ve seen mussels served in either red marina-style sauce or white wine, so DON’T add red sauce to a white wine sauce, or at a MINIMUM say that on the menu.
The BIG problem was no so much that they served it this way, but the fact that the OWNER and EVERY staff member discussed this LOUDLY at the glass partition. It’s important to say this was at 4:45pm on a Saturday night, so the restaurant was still rather empty at this point.
They took the mussels out of the red sauce, and re-purposed them in the new white sauce, so now the mussels were chewy and over-cooked. Still tasty, but chewy due to overcooking.

I can deal with the error on the menu. Heck, I can deal with the fact that you didn’t want to throw out the mussels and simply rinsed and re-served them. What I can’t understand is how you think it’s a good idea to stand within ear shot of a guest and talk badly about them. We heard you. Everyone in the restaurant heard you.

I graciously give you 3 stars for your years of good service and nice memories. Perhaps next time you simply serve it as it’s described on your menu and not trash your customer for expecting it that way.

Today was a bittersweet day(national sibling day). My friend humored me and said yes to my dinner date. I’m so glad I went. She and her fiance enjoyed dinner (first timers), so I’m definitely going back.
I’m happy to be next to Cafe Amore! Food will always be superb! We got chicken Primavera, chicken fettuccine, and lobster ravioli.
Also, I got to help a gentleman that t fell down. I’m glad he was ok!

Hope Cafe Amore continues to be around, my daughter ate everything!

This is some of the best Italian food in the area! We have been dining here for years both in the dining room as well as for takeout. Family owned so they get to know you and make you feel like family too. Texans by way of New York so we’re fairly picky about pizza, but Cafe Amore hits the spot every time. Thin crust, lots of cheese, and just yummy deliciousness. Pasta dishes have always been good as well. Glad to have a great place for italian close to home.

Little hidden jewel. Great marinara (that’s my compass point for Italian restsurants,) homemade bread, and such a lovely atmosphere. And it’s BYOB, so you are sure to get exactly the wine you prefer! Attentive and warm service. We will definitely be back.

Came on a Saturday for lunch and had a party of 5. At first our servers were very attentive, but the longer we stayed the less and less service we got. We had to try and get our server’s attention on multiple occasions, and there were only two other tables sat. I also noticed that our server had an AirPod in. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt as the servers could have had a long day.
Regardless, if you are willing to deal with all that, the food is amazing, though the service could have been better that day.

PS. I wish there were more clear directives on the 20% gratuity. I had a party of 5, but there was no where on the menu or signage that mentions this.

The waitress my husband and I had attend us barely attended to us. She just looked at us a few times and it felt so awkward. When we asked for the bill we weren’t going to tip her because we didn’t like the service. She basically forced us to tip by saying “Do you know good service? Do you know that we don’t get paid here so we need tips?” I felt bad for her but my goodness was her question aggressive

Cafe Amore was a good Italian place with a lot of options. I have heard good things about their pizza but didn’t have it this time. We got a few pastas to share among the table which I’d recommend doing. Good flavors!

Amore has the best Italian vibe, this side of the Atlantic Ocean.

The atmosphere is cozy, it’s the next best thing to having an Italian ”Nonna” (means Grandma) in your house. The servers are courteous and attentive, but not so attentive that they’d ask you ”how is everything?” just when you started chewing a spoonful of spaghetti. The food is good, tastes homemade. And the portions are generous.

The first thing I noticed were the real, red and pink fresh flowers adorning the tables. Very nice touch! And not to be missed were the Roman arches and columns that adorn Rome, Florence, and anywhere within a thousand miles of the Mediterranean (or ‘Mare Nostrum”, Our Sea, as the Ancient Italians used to call it!).

But then I noticed the art, and oh, what a great moment that was! Huge paintings after the Italian Renaissance masters, My favorite was the Venetian gondolas by Giovanni Antonio Canaletto. But then I noticed the sculptures after Michelangelo, and ”The Touch of God” painting after the fresco from the Sistine Chapel.

”Amore” is the right name for this restaurant, because you’re sure to fall in love with the ambiance, the service, the food, or maybe even with the person sitting across from you!
