You would think such a convenient place at IAD would be great, but no. Don’t even try. I fly a lot, and try and stop by here and there for a drink, a quick bite, or whatever. Every worker here is just moonlighting and couldn’t care less. There is never, ever, someone in the front of the bar to take orders. Sitting here now and the bartender and cook just went and sat at a table together to talk while customers are waiting. How on earth can this business run? This is every time. People are ALWAYS looking
To pay their bill, get another drink, order food, etc.
For example, after 15 minutes of the cook (chef coat) and bartender sitting at the table on their phones, I went to the kitchen area to see if perhaps they were relieved with others, but no. I then had to be the guy to ask “are you working here?” To pay my bill and point them in the direction of another guy trying to pay.
Give me a break. This is just Business 101 and this place could care less.
Edit: if an airport worker approaches, everyone else doesn’t get helped.

The girl literally “sqwaked” like a bird when she saw NO TIP. Baby the beers are $9 a piece and I only got 2. Why was my check $27 and you still wanted a tip!!! I’m a server, check yourself before you wreck yourself

My wife’s plane was delayed over 30 minutes and this café was right near the carousel, so why not grab a quick pint? I didn’t try the food, but the pizza appeared to be popular with other patrons. Both hostesses were very polite and attentive with smiles. If I end up in this situation again, I’d be happy to be a returning customer.

The waitress begging for tips. She will not give you the check if you are not giving tips. I tip her 10$ but she want more. She didn’t even give a good service, rude. No water no table clearance but 10$ tip is not enough? She even told me to go back to my country as US people usually tips more than 20. Located at Baggage Claim 15. Theme is like a sports bar. They have international airline status screens inside the bar so you won’t miss anything if you are waiting for someone to arrive. Expect to pay around $20 for typical meals or snacks. They can seat around 50 people and only had 2 clients on Tuesday evening.
You can also go to Starbucks, located nearby although the wait there seemed more than this place.

Horrible experience, waitress walked around on her phone ignoring us. When we tried to order her phone was ringing in her hand. She got our orders wrong and then was rude to us when we raised that we got food we didn’t order. I have a chicken allergy, when I asked for food to be remade without it they brought the salad back with just chicken picked out. Very gross. Couldn’t eat the food.

The server was on the phone most of the time. She never came to give us water or check on my table. I had to go to the bartender to pay for my bill and get a to go box. The bartender basically did her job and the server’s job. The food was meh and I most definitely would not recommend. You’re better off just going to Starbucks for a quick bite.
