It was very nice that they opened on thanksgiving, but the food was just ok. Chicken and salmon were both over cooked, super dry. But the homemade blueberry pie was so delicious!

Love it here. Good food choices. Lobster fans, beware! Lobster roll is NOT traditional… it is Lobster salad with a heavy dose of tarragon. Fabulous grouper bites!

Chyane was our server. She was terrific and gave us lots of good info on what to do in Dunedin as first time visitors. The outside dining table was perfect. The food was delicious. I had the beet salad. Yum. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich. He intended to eat half but it was so good he ate the whole thing. Everyone there was friendly. We enjoyed our lunch and intend to return.

I had the best porkchop I have ever had. However, I was not impressed with the waiter. I will go again and hopefully get a different waiter.

This joint has been in its corner for over a decade at least. The dessert bar alone will temp you, but the wide variety of selections will be great for all types of food lovers. There is a small bar area and a good amount of tables.
The entire menu has been installed on a tablet to see a close up of each item.
A variety of wines and cocktails are offered.
The bread was a basic roll and a little gummy and wasn’t that exciting, but the entrees replaced my feelings.
Our table selected the Chinese Chicken Salad and Eggplant Parmesan. Both were excellent. Both were very generous portions. Both had crispy breadings. I suggest the dressings on the side for the salad.
We were more than full from our large portions, that we had to pass on the desserts. Looking forward to a late night stop for desserts.

Cafe Alfresco has been in business for 20 years, this was our first time trying it and wow. Friendly service even with a rambunctious toddler in tow, amazing food and the cheesecake to die for. Clean and inviting atmosphere in cute Dunedin.

We were so impressed with our dinner here! The menu had so many delicious options that it was genuinely hard to choose. Despite the restaurant being completely full—with a line of people waiting outside—our food arrived within minutes. It was the fastest service we’ve ever experienced, and everything was fresh and excellent.

Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this spot for dinner—it’s absolutely worth the wait if you have to line up to get in!

We came off the beach and while looking around Dunedin found this charming little restaurant.
It was a nice evening so we chose to sit on the patio, which was a good choice as it is well positioned, breezy, and you can ‘people watch’ off the Pinellas Trail.
Also you are sitting beside a 250 year Live Oak tree!
The service (Derek!) was exceptional.
The food was good as well.
A nice beet and arugula salad to start, the special was a chicken and pasta dish, and my wife had the Grouper entree.
So overall it was a nice dining experience.

Sooo…let me start by expressing how terribly upset I am that I’ve lived in this area for 7 years, have walked passed this place on NUMEROUS occasions and never once stopped in to eat. I am a self-proclaimed “foodie” and I’ve never stopped here once….not one time. Ugh, anyway…THIS.PLACE.IS.AMAZING! The food and service was sooooo good. Literally THE best Steakhouse Pork-chop I’ve tasted in this area! There were 3 of us and we shared our plates because we wanted to try everything! Everything was good! So good! Mid-chew, we asked the server to please put us in contact with the chef so that we can give our praises and best compliments. Chef departed by the time we inquired, so we shared our enthusiasm with the server and here with a google review. We were very grateful for the good food, the AMAZING service from Kaveh (Hope I spelled it correctly) and the wonderful atmosphere. Needless to say, I will NOT just walk on by this place anymore. Very intentionally, we will be dining again!!!!
