I ate here on Friday evening, and they had an accordionist serenading everyone as we ate. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the stuffed pljevica (however you spell it) was amazing!! I loved the whole vibe, and it was incredibly affordable, too. I wish I lived in Houston so that I could return again soon. Highly recommend!

I heard about this Bosnian restaurant on Nextdoor app and decided to try it. Never had Bosnian food before. Actually, Bosnian food is an amalgam of many different regions such as Middle eastern and Greek to name a couple. The restaurant is very simply decorated but comfortable and not loud. We had the Greek salad which was among the better ones I’ve had. I had a grilled chicken sandwich in a baguette and I don’t know what the various herbs/spices they used but I have been craving it ever since. It seems simple enough but I found the flavor to be really delicious. We had their homemade Turkish coffee. It is not for everyone but I appreciated the abundance of flavors and aromas that were present. We tried the fried anchovies and I have to say I really enjoyed these much more than fried calamari which derives all of its flavor from the batter. With this item, the anchovy flavor was very present but not as salty as anchovies that you typically find in salads and other fare. Of course, if you do not like fish and specifically the strong flavor of anchovies this will be an item for you to avoid. Finally, the baklava was more hearty than most and not as sweet but it was to my liking. Additionally they have a boiled peeled whole apple stuffed with walnuts and topped with a cream which will be liked by anyone loves desserts such as apple pie. Very different and captured a strong apple flavor. The staff is perfect and the prices quite reasonable.

First time here and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and full of flavor. Our server, Yosmery, was fantastic super attentive and always made sure my friend’s Stellas came with a chilled glass every single time. Excellent service and a great experience overall. Highly recommend!
All of the meat we serve (including pepperoni) is halal, except for prosciutto.

My family wanted to try something new to us in the area, and WHAT A JOY! The food was incredible. The owner was so kind and helped us navigate the menu with great recommendations.
My husband had the lamb shank, which was delicious! I had the lamb chop, and was cooked perfect and equally delicious! I loved the vegetables it came with, and the side salad was great. The dressing was really really good.
We had the ackawi cheese appetizer, which I could have had two servings of!
Our kiddo got the meatballs and pasta, and the sauce was really really good! The meatball was eaten fast, so I didn’t have time to taste it—but if a young child finishes their food that fast it’s a good sign.
We will be back! Thanks for the excellent service, great music, and welcome atmosphere.

Great Bosnian cuisine. Try the Sakavci….Bosnian meatballs served over pasta. The Cevapcici sandwich, I got the large, traditional Bosnian style grilled beef links served on a tasty lepinjas bread…yum. The Turkish style coffee is great and don’t forget to try a dessert. Amazing people work here, we enjoyed visiting with the owner, Kamal. they made us feel right at home. We visited with the owner for a bit, super nice guy.

This is a great spot! The gulas was wonderful, reminded me of my time in Bihać. Girice was also amazing. Wonderful selection of wines as well. Very attentive staff that never let a glass get half empty.

We enjoyed the service and the food very much. Everything was excellent, including a gentleman playing guitar. It was a Sunday Brunch; we ordered Meza as an appetizer, Lamb Shank, Gulas (beef stew), Sakavci (Bosnian meatball) and a lunch special (beef stuffed in bell peppers) for a family of four. Highly recommend to those who have not tried Bosnian food.

A small but intimate atmosphere with high quality food and service. They offer various wines with a simple cafe selection. I believe my server was Maria, she explained the menu to me and what were the most popular items and checked on me many times. I order the margarita pizza and a latte, both are wonderful. If you’re tired of fast-food and want a nice meal this is definitely the place to go to. The prices are not crazy for the quality of food and service. Will definitely be coming back
