This is my first time trying Filipino style desserts. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. The workers here were super nice and I go thier maiz con yelo halo halo, matcha pandan, churrochi, maiz con yelo bar, turon poptart, ube crinckle cookie, ans ube truffle to try. The maiz con yelo halo halo was perfectly sweet, refreshing, and had good corny flaves. Kinda reminded me of the corn bingsu I had but with more elements like the flan and ice cream that made it more decadent. The matcha pandan had good matchay flaves, was milky, not too sweet, and slightly coco nutty? I think that was from the pandan. The churrochi had a lightly crisp sugary exterior with a fun chewy interior, was drizzled with plenty of caramel and paired really well with the vanilla ice cream that came wiTh it. The maiz con yelo bar was super dense like cheesecake, had a thick lowkey bland crust, and was kinda one note. It did have decently light corn flaves tho. The turon poptart had like a banana paste and jack fruit filling and was pretty dry. The ube crinkle cookie and truffles tho. MNM. Both had Plenty of those nutty ubey earthy vanillay notes. The cookie was perfectly buttery, thick and not dry or crumbly and the truffle was like an ube fundgey brownie ball coated in Oreos. There were some hits and misses but Overall this place is lowkey pretty good.

WOW! It tastes even better than BYOB West Covina or any other boba spots around here! The Thai tea tastes exactly like Cha Tra Mue in LA. What a pleasure to have this place near my house. Now I don’t have to drive all the way to Rosemead or LA for it. I got the Thai Tea, Sea Salt Thai Tea, and Cheese Foam Milk Tea. Every sip feels like heaven, rich and flavorful. Their Ube Truffle Cupcake is absolutely worth it. It’s like Ube Orea all throughout the cake, and just one bite gives you a moment of pure joy. 10/10, I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I came here after a really bad KBBQ experience at Gen and the drinks here really cheered me up. The atmosphere was amazing and it seems like a great study spot so I’ll definitely be coming back.
The drink I got was their standard matcha latte, it wasn’t too sweet or too bitter nor grainy. I’ve had a lot of matcha in my time and this was pretty solid. My boyfriend got the other drink, I’m 90% sure it was the taro, a little too sweet for me, but he really liked it so that’s all that matters.
The highlight of this place was definitely the welcoming atmosphere and amazing drinks!

Visited Café 86 in West Covina for the first time for a meetup. The Strawberry Calamansi Cooler was refreshing, and the grilled cheese was perfectly toasted. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere made it a great experience all around.

Awesome service food was pretty fresh, I give the macaroons a 7.5 out of 10. Very clean inside as well, so that is definitely a good thing to see.

It’s a little coffee/Boba spot. I was here on a Saturday night and they were packed people/families just having talking. It is a little loud, but I was able to get studying done with my headphones in. I ordered the Ube Matcha latte hot and it was really good not too sweet. It’s perfect.

My husband took me and the baby out for a walk and stumbled upon this place. The staff girlies were very sweet and attentive. I tried the original halo halo and I enjoyed the texture, the creaminess of the ube ice cream, the Frosted Flakes, flans and all. Honestly, this sweet treat made me look forward to more walks out of the house and it made me feel better from the the postpartum ickies I’ve been feeling lately so ty to the staff! Next time I’ll try the upside down one (I ate it quick so I forgot to take a pic sorry )

First time trying the Halo Halo and it was tasty. Of the two I definitely recommend the upside down halo halo (the purple one with the scoop of vanilla ice cream) the Frosted Flakes gave it a good texture and the piece of flan with vanilla ice cream was a great combo. Great place to come and get your sweet tooth fix.

Has a really good ambiance where it’s located and the halo-halo is really good 10/10! The owner is really nice and friendly too, and gave us a sample of what looks like a mais cheesecake which is also good and perfect sweetness. This is our go to for ube and halo halo cravings.
