The coffee was good. The space is good. The food is good. The staff is good. I don’t really have a complaint here. The space is so cute, the food is delicious and the menu is abundant. I love that the drinks are served in mason jars. A cute little gem we found on our way to the dells.

Beautiful little spot for coffee. I enjoyed the iced dirty chai. The menu felt very gourmet-ish for a coffee shop but I do wish they had vegan options.
I was able to find sourdough with peanut butter as well as a beautiful piece of sourdough with arugula and finely-diced tomatoes. I had to omit the bacon and cheese to make it vegan.
Nice, homey interior.
Best I can tell, this is the only vegan option in town.

The food here is top quality, and the atmosphere is both comfortable and inviting. My husband ordered a side of tomato and Gorgonzola soup, and it was so delicious we ended up taking some home!

Cool, little coffee, cafe, bar, and market wrapped up into one the Old Royal Inn building in the heart of downtown Mineral Point. We really enjoyed the experience and totally not there fault but it wasn’t easy to get into the building due to construction of the sidewalk and street outside, but I am glad we were able to because the coffee and breakfast were excellent and tasty. I highly recommend the power breakfast bowl with wheat berries and kale, and I would splurge on adding bacon and avacado. It was deliciously filling. The coffee was excellent, and I believe they were using Collectivo, which is a favorite of ours. Also, if you are a foodie like us, check out the market next door for some eclectic beer, locally sourced flours from Meadowlark Community Mill, and, of course, Hook’s cheese!

I wish this place was in our hometown! It’s so cozy and comfortable. They have 2 rooms of indoor seating and 2 different area for outdoor seating. My husband arrived hangry and left a different person. His eggs were perfectly cooked. He loved his home fries and the multi-grain toast is better than anywhere else.
I loved my coconut banana latte and omelet.
The staff were so lovely and chill.
I wish they hadn’t transferred their liquor license because their bloody Mary’s were previously amazing, but we enjoyed everything.

Molly made fantastic wedding cakes for my daughter and son-in-law’s celebration this past weekend. She decorated their three-layer sweetheart cake with fresh flowers and fruit. It was the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen. And the two layer strawberry & cream sheet cakes for our guests were divinely delicious!

This spot was recommended to me. I was only able to grab and go so enjoyed a latte and chocolate croissant. They didn’t have a miel on their menu and were still able to make it for me. Their food menu looks amazing and while I was waiting, I was able to get a glimpse of some dishes others ordered. The staff were friendly too. I will definitely try this spot when I have more time. The food looked delicious and they use Colectivo coffee. If you’re in the area. Check this spot out.

Our first visit to Cafe 43, and all four of us were impressed, and walked away happy! I got the waffle, which came with orange slices, powdered sugar, and syrup, and I also ordered a side of bacon. Very cozy atmosphere, and a great location near the edge of town, with historic buildings all around! My specialty coffee drink was also tasty, and my wife loved her tea. We sat right next to the fireplace, which was wonderful, and we did not have to wait long for our food at all. Reasonable prices. We’ll be back!

We come here often. Great breakfasts, fresh pastries (always one variety for my GF soul). We had a special, peanut stew, excellent. Coffee is primo. And there is a TV that plays TCM movies, old flicks. No sound, but the visuals are fun. TRY IT!

Are you a Big City person? You’ve found Big City flavor in this spot.
I tried the Smoked Chicken Salad on GF bread, and it left me wondering who they have as a cook because it was truly unexpected. It was too good, better than what I’ve ever had in a town of this size or a city!
The shop grounds you to the heart of America with the warmth decor and music while the flavors transport you, be it the soothing smooth Mocha or this amazing Smocked Chicken Salad. 10/10!
