Came across this hidden cafe and it was amazing. The owner was incredibly sweet and accommodating. The food and service were excellent. It is a bit on the pricey side, and the chalkboard menu had some inaccurate prices, but overall it’s a lovely spot with comfortable seating. I will definitely be coming back.

Delightful cafe with a European flavour and delicious desserts, specialty coffee and gourmet sandwiches. The ambiance is lovely but not stuffy and the owner, Daniela is a gem. Every customer feels like a friend and I will be returning with my friends. This cafe is the perfect spot for a lovely date with your spouse or hangout with your girlfriends. God bless you Daniela, and may your light continue to shine bright.

I’m really torn about this review, because the atmosphere is lovely and the staff and service are too, however I was really disappointed with the cost and quality of the food. While $4 for a pot of tea is incredibly reasonable, it was so weak (especially for Indian Chai Spice) that it had next to no flavour – and I usually enjoy tea on the weaker side. And it was $5.50 for a bagel with butter…. Nothing else. It was a your average, simple sesame bagel with a couple of cubes of cold, hard butter on the side that wouldn’t spread. For comparison, at my usual cafe it’s $7 for a fresh scone, butter, cream, jam, and tea/coffee, all beautifully presented with a river view. Plus, none of their desserts are made in house, but rather in a facility that uses nuts. For $5 for a piece of banana loaf or a small dessert, I would hope they would be homemade. Overall, lovely atmosphere and the service was friendly, but my friend and I won’t be returning when there are so many other options that are equal in atmosphere and service but more affordable. Perhaps lowering the cost of for a simple bagel only option, or leaving the higher price but include a couple of berries, some yogurt, or a slice of fruit might be more appealing to the pocketbook.

Friendly and welcoming owner, a cosy place to meet friends for coffee and snacks or a delicious lunch. The menu offers lots of choice. Its central Uptown location is footsteps from parking, the Ion, and 3 GRT transit routes. I come here often and highly recommend it.

The coffee is consistently excellent — rich, smooth, and clearly made with high-quality beans. I’ve tried a few different drinks and every single one has been spot on. It’s the kind of place where you can sit and relax, get some work done, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee.

A truly wonderful café with consistently great food, excellent coffee, and delicious baked goods. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, and you can really tell care goes into the details.

The owner is incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the staff are always kind, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. It’s a cozy, inviting space and a perfect spot to meet with friends, catch up with coworkers, or enjoy a relaxing moment for yourself. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a trendy social hipster cafe, this isn’t the place… but it is the perfect cafe.

Plenty of tables including big window seats if you want to people-watch. Comfortable seating and quiet atmosphere makes it the perfect place to work on your laptop. Never seems to be busy either so seats are always free.

The owner and her employee are both sweet and friendly. Food and baked goods are decent in taste/price for a cafe, but their coffee is really top-notch. The milk foam on their cappacinos/lattes are like a layer of velvet… Don’t know how they do that.

No idea why i didn’t try this place sooner but i was wonderfully surprised by this café.
We went for lunch and had their sandwiches along with their sweet treats.

It was a real pleasure and the staff is so welcoming!!

There are treats that are really delicious and different from other places so I totally recommend trying it out.

We had a lovely conversation with the lady there and we will totally go back to this place for their treats
