This a very nice and quaint. The staff is nice and the food is delicious. I had the duck and my husband salmon. Check them out but make sure to call for reservations.

Cafe 1912 is our favorite place to eat in Memphis. If you get Sara as your server, you will be good to go!

Good food and service. $32 for 4 scallops and some risotto was a bit pricey. Excellent shrimp cocktail and moist delicious chicken.

Very retro, cool, small bar. Ran by the same people who have a coffee shop downtown have opened this cool bar in midtown. I call it my honeycomb hideout. Great place for when you don’t want a big crowd around. Great classic cocktails and cheese boards.

I used to love this restaurant, have been coming here for over 20 years. They had the best hamburger. Went yesterday and the food was disgusting. The appetizer was cold and watery, tasted like gross canned watery pasta sauce. The burger used to have an herb flavor the bun was small and sauce was different. The fries used to be shoestring and now it’s just a plane burger and fries you get at a dive bar. I couldn’t finish it because it wasn’t even worth the calories. You can just go across the street at slider inn for a burger. So disappointed. Will not be coming back here anymore. Please fix the menu. The ambiance isn’t the same anymore either.

Small place which is ok, was asked if we had resoverations and there were 2 tables in the place. Ordered the French Onion soup. It was ok nothing special. Had the pork tenderloin but the biggest issue I had was watching the entire kitchen staff barehanded make all the food for us and everyone that came in after us with out washing their hands in between. Not to mention it is code to wear gloves with RTE items. I wont be back. Server was nice and attractive, too bad. I had high Hope’s for this place.

Definitely not someplace we will be eating at again. We ordered the cheese plate appetizer which was a mistake. When the waiter brought the small plate of 3-1 Oz pieces of cheese and 3 small pieces of toasted bread I thought that was bad, and then we ate it…The bread was stale and the cheese was par at best. One entree was the salmon and the other was the ham and cheese stuffed chicken breast. The chicken was better than the salmon but this is not saying much. Both had little to no taste and were simply bland. Portion size were small to medium and we left still hungry.

(1) mussels: all opened, but overcooked and mealy, broth was acrid white wine lacking garlic, parsley, and especially butter, bread for dipping was a few small torn shreds in the bowl. (2) cream of spinach soup: rich spinach flavor, very good. (3) Nicoise salad: not a salad, but a nice big chunk of fresh tuna. (4) Lyonaise salad: comes with bacon, but this came with all the fat in the pan dumped over it, a wilted salad by any other name. My wife was disgusted, sent it back, got it off the bill. Rated 3/5 is pretty generous.

For years this has been my favorite Memphis restaurant. I crave the seafood crepes, they are Devine. After moving away for 6 years and finally returning home recently, coming here for my beloved crepes was very high on my list. I was so happy to see they were still on the menu and waited eagerly to get my fix. So they were good but they have made some cost cutting changes that I found disappointing. The scallops are now tiny bay scallops, flavorless, might as well leave them out. The shrimp was plentiful and delicious and that sauce, thank God they didn’t change that. They used to give you 2 crepes, now you get only 1 strategically folded to appear to take up more room on the plate. The crepe was also thicker, not the delicate perfection I remembered. Service is still excellent and I will visit again, however I suggest you return to the former recipe. Bring back the sea scallops, and return the portion to 2 crepes and raise the price. I would gladly pay more for this. The new cost cutting version is disappointing.
