Cute cafe. They weren’t doing indoor seating so I ordered to go and sat outside. The food and coffee were fresh. I love a good egg Benedict and was pretty excited to try it here. It wasn’t my favorite but it was still flavorful. Loved the broccoli salad! Worth checking out.

However, the prices do NOT reflect that it’s a take-out only restaurant where you’re using packaged plastic cutlery to eat off plastic containers or the size of the dishes.

Hands down the best place (and my favorite place) to eat in Sanford and the nearby area. The menu is unique, on the healthier side, and you can also buy various grocery and bakery goods to take home.
The seating area outside is lovely for dining and relaxing while soaking in downtown. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food and service are always excellent.
Keep in mind that they do close pretty early (2pm), so plan on coming for breakfast/brunch.

We love Cafe 121 and make sure we dine there when we are in town. The decor is artsy, yet comfortable. Atmosphere is calm so you can converse with your table mates. And the menu items offer unique takes on common dishes.

Gluten Free bread is horrid! Crumbles just opening the container. Trying to eat it is ridiculous. No utensils included. Had to eat this mess with my fingers.
Bread has a Bitter aftertaste.
This is the type of gluten free bread we had twenty years ago. There’s better options out there now.

The food and service was absolutely wonderful. They are very friendly to those with food allergies and you can eat here safely. They have dedicated food prep space to prevent cross contamination.
I had the fried chicken, scrambled egg, bacon, and Havarti cheese biscuit and I would definitely order that again.

The brunch here was great! I ordered the southern eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes and was blown away. We also got a mimosa flight that came with various fruit juices and a bottle of champagne. The service was great. The inside was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom even had a mouthwash available for customers to use. Loved it all!

This is the best, upscale restaurant in Sanford. It is a great place to take a serious date. The food is wonderful and the menu changes, so you get to try new things every-so-often. It is located in a downtown setting that is nice and quiet. We like going here and then making a show at the Temple Theatre.
