Lovely Italian near the Minster . Wife had minestrone soup , packed with vegetables. I asked if they could make me a tomato soup ( which wasn’t even on the menu ) absolutely beautiful , with real pan fried croutons… not those dried things . Wife’s Sea Bass was lovely . I ordered the spaghetti in a lovely tomato sauce , with added chillies. I had to have canolli which was delicious. Throughout my shopaholic years coming to York , iv only just come across this lovely Italian. Close to the Minster , serving homely Italian food . Nothing is a hassle for these guys and girls . Theirs a lunch menu 2 or 3 course. I can’t wait for summer to sit outside and enjoy more of their lovely food .

This restaurant is wonderful. The staff are dedicated, helpful, friendly and authentic and always give us a huge warm welcome when we visit. We went on our first date here 4 years ago and the main gentlemen still remembers us now even though we don’t visit often. The chicken and mushroom risotto is to die for and the homemade tiramisu!

We have been here twice now and amazing staff, service and food both times.
The main man is so friendly and so happy to chat with us, we weren’t happy with a little bit of the food and they immediately replaced it and knocked some money off.
We’re very happy to accommodate and have the patience with my disabled sister.
Definitely recommend for amazing food and drinks at a good price and truly great atmosphere and service!

We had the vegan lasagne and pizza. They also made a spaghetti pomodoro for my child on request as it wasn’t on the child’s menu.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. You can always tell when food is cooked with passion and soul, and this was a fine example. Not just another vegan dish to tick a box, but thought and attention had gone into it. Staff were very friendly and attentive and service was very quick. Would defo return!

Excellent service & atmosphere. It was my daughters birthday on the same day as the waitress Jasmine, the owner and all of the staff sang happy birthday to Jasmine in the restaurant with the customers joining in, you can tell how much they all must get along.
We were a party of 10 with 2 children and were well catered for. The food portions are excellent and the flavours are too.
We would definitely recommend Caesars to any of our friends going to York and looking for Italian.
