Me and my husband just had the best experience here. The staff is so friendly and nice. Our food was amazing! We had the corn beef pita and it was so good! The topper was the soup oh my goodness it was delicious! We had the chicken noodle soup and the lemon rice both were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend eating here if your in the area.

My “flavored” frenchtoast had little to no seasoning. It looked better than it tasted. Hashbrowns were mushy and soft. Beef bacon was perfect.
Staff was rushing alot. They were only at 50% capacity at best. I was very disappointed and embarrassed to take my family to this establishment. Not how i wanted my family to experience my community.
Al Shallal is a more family friendly dining experience

I made a carry out order over the phone and I should’ve known that it was gonna be a rough one, the server must be new, because she absolutely didn’t know the Menu… I ordered two kids menu breakfast and an order of wings and I asked for a corned beef omelette And asked for a side of beef bacon… Yhe order was not correct and powdered sugar was spilled in the bag with the food, nothing like a sweet omelette!!! I guess if I ever go back, it will be in person so if it’s an issue it’ll be resolved, feel like I wasted $70.00 on a breakfast that wasn’t right

I had the Omlette with ground beef and onions, along with 2 pancakes and a cup of coffee which was delicious. The Omlette was excellent as were the pancakes.

Food was great. Ordered a very large Cobb salad. The bowl was deep and full. The place is nice and roomy excellent booth seating. I did find one recurring issue annoying. I felt rushed. When the waitress set my salad down she asked if I wanted a carryout container. Mam I just got here and had not lifted my fork. The coffee refills were awesome. I did want to eat slowly and enjoy the sunny day. Then came back while I was eating and asked if I wanted to check out? I checked the site, perhaps they were closing? It was then i asked for the container and check. Good food, I would not say it was a friendly vibe for me. As a Social Worker reading energy is second nature. Won’t be back
Regarding the response. Thankyou 🙂 It is rung up as a cobb because i request only chicken, cheese and bacon on my salads so a restaurant might substitute and amended name for what i want. It’s usually a Cobb without eggs or tomato. It does not change the experience.

I only gave 3 stars due to portion size. I Ordered the corn beef meal for $15, very little meat was on the sandwich, just over an inch of meat, At that price I was expecting at least 4 to 4.5 and up. No pickle was included also. Flavor was pretty good! Windings were awesome note, they only sell the 6 peace. I’m from the Eastside of Detroit, yes the stigma that the Westside dose not have better Coney islands is true, I’ve searched and have fallen short with the exception of one location in redford that’s hit and miss.

This place definitely surprised me with how good their food is! I tried the Reuben and the chicken bacon wrap. Both were excellent, the portions were huge! The chicken lemon rice soup was also very good. The salad was okay, tasted like a fast food salad. Overall, I will definitely order from them again!
