Cady’s Tea Room serves afternoon tea in Greenwich, Connecticut. On Saturday afternoons, we delight guests with high tea service on our patio or in our tea room dining room. Our high tea menu includes scones, clotted cream, tea sandwiches, tea pastries, and choice of fine teas from local businesses. Cady’s Tea Room began to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of women winning the right to vote in America. We named our tea room after Elizabeth Cady Stanton, after whom Stanton House Inn also has its name.

Quaint afternoon tea room in Greenwich, Connecticut that offered lots of tasty treats! They had over 6 different curated tea options. (You could try all of them if you wished.) I personally was a fan of the pear tea! The service team was very attentive to refilling tea and made sure you didn’t leave without being full! The team themed this particular tea with a “Wicked” decor, it was adorable! I would definitely return again in the future. Cheers!

What a true delight! We celebrated a special birthday here on Saturday and absolutely loved our entire experience! The tea room is decorated simply and beautifully, the blueberry iced tea was such a treat and all of the food, especially the coconut scones with fresh butter and strawberry jam was pure heaven for our taste buds! I am an avid afternoon tea enthusiast and I am so happy I came to try Candy’s Tea Room! The food was delicious, the service was great, it’s a super cute atmosphere and I can’t wait to go back! You make a reservation online and pay ahead of time, so all you do when you dine is leave a tip. I also think the price is great considering some of the afternoon teas I’ve been to in NYC that cost more and are lower quality. You can try all the teas offered and I was even given a complimentary mimosa, I highly recommend coming here for afternoon tea!

We recently had a perfect afternoon bridal shower for our daughter at Cady’s tea Room located at the Stanton House Inn in Greenwich, Ct. Everyone thought it was absolutely lovely. The staff was so accommodating and flexible, and were so helpful with setup, yet we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We were given a selection of teas, tea sandwiches, scones and cookies(the best I have ever had)which were presented on their beautiful tier plates and china, and were served complimentary prosecco upon arrival. They said we could bring in anything additional that we wanted, and they did not rush us out when we stayed beyond our allotted time. We were even able to use the adjacent parlor to open gifts, so it felt like we were in our own private living room. The location, about 5 min from the Greenwich train station was very convenient for guests that were coming from NYC. I would highly recommend Cady’s for a truely special intimate event.

Beautiful historic house, delicious tea, lovely afternoon. The women running the weekly high tea do a wonderful job curating the experience, and the food served was absolutely delicious. They even made an extra vegetarian dish for me, despite there only being one thing I couldn’t have. Unnecessary, but absolutely appreciated. My guest and I both plan on going back.

I wanted to have a birthday celebration that was different but yet filled with charm. And Candy’s Tearoom was the perfect place!!! The space was delightful, the food was delicious and the service was personable and wonderful. Madison and Kate made us feel welcome and put beautiful finishing touches on every detail. The charm of the Stanton House Inn is key to this with an old English Inn feel. I couldn’t have been more happy! I give it as many stars as possible for the success that they provide!

What a lovely experience to enjoy a traditional Victorian afternoon tea here. The Mansion is warm and welcoming with comfortable seating and decorated rooms with fireplaces.The selection of afternoon teas, sandwiches and sweets were delicious and the service was outstanding!!!

We enjoyed the Cady Tea Room immensely: the room is lovely with wainscotting and bow window with a view of the gardens. The tea service was lovely, the selection of tea flavors well matched to the sandwiches and scones. The desserts were lovely confections and everything was fresh made.

Our group of four celebrating early birthdays had a lovely afternoon tea. The seasonal menu offered four different teas, prosecco was offered for all. The usual three tiers of savories, scones and sweets were all delicious. The room, inside the Stanton Inn, must double as the breakfast room for the Inn and was sun drenched and decorated for the season. Service was perfectly attentive without being intrusive. We look forward to going again.
