We keep much of our menu farm to table using local resources for our ingredients. What is not local is chef picked to be of the quality that we have been known for for over 30 years. Excellent customer service. The owner is very nice and personable. Everything on menu is fresh and favorable. The atmosphere was a bit noisy but we were there on Saturday evening. Highly recommend for someone looking for elegant food.

I called for reservations for my 58th birthday dinner ️ & John did the honors. When we arrived he also greeted us at the door and seated us at our choice. He was exceptionally nice. I didn’t even know he was the owner until I read the history while waiting for the food to come. That says a lot about his character and speaks even higher volume, which goes a long way with me. In addition to his kindness our waitress Janet was also accommodating & the food was fantastic; cudos to the chef. I’ve been to several fine dining area restaurants and Cadwalladers Cafe’ serves the best crab cake. I ordered the duck wings and they were just as delicious. It was an amazing fine dining experience and I thouroghly enjoyed celebrating my 58th birthday there. I will return again & again.

Really enjoyed everything about our meal. The fried duck legs and boar soup came out great. The rack of lamb was so tender the meat just melted in my mouth. The flavors were really great!

The rack of lamb was very good, and paired very well with the rosemary redskin potatoes. The bison ribeye was not as good as a regular beef ribeye steak. It didn’t melt in your mouth like you would think, and it was more expensive than a massive buttery tomahawk from Calverts.

Love this place. It had that traditional super club feel, impeccable service and excellent food. I’m a cook so I have high standards. The food is oilier and saltier than I prefer, but it’s delicious.
